That's great! MFP is the best!

Yes, there is a setting for max heart rate. Mine set it automatically when I purchased it and put in my data. However, it can be changed. Check again and yes, I have the FT7!

I bought my dream car last November 2012 Lexus RX350. I LOVE MY CAR!!! 'Nuff said!

I found that getting on the scale once a week was too frustrating so I went to a once as month weigh in. I like that much better!

No plans to go visit anywhere. Just to enjoy the time with family and friends. Have a great vacation and holiday season!

Congrats Tami! You are, indeed, an inspiration to all of us here trying to reach our goals. All the best to you on your future endeavors! :drinker: :flowerforyou:

Add me in! I have roughly 8 lbs to go to get to ONDERLAND and I told myself I wanted it done before this year is out. So, why not? However, I usually only weigh in once a month because I'm older and I have a lot of fluctuations with hormones and such. Hope that's ok. All the best to everyone doing this challenge!

Awesome! I'm working on getting to ONEDERLAND myself. I'm about 8 lbs away. It would be great if I could get there by the end of this year. Keep up the great work!

Just adding my 2 cents. I have Zumba for Wii (that's how I started) and then graduated to the live class. The classes are so much more fun and a better workout IMO. I even have a Zumba DVD my niece did and I still like the class better. So if you have any being offered near you, I would suggest going to classes anyday over…

You have done great and look fabulous! Congrats!

Something is definitely not right about the calorie burn you're getting. Not sure what it is, though. Is the chest strap secure and are you wetting it thoroughly before you work out? I also have the Polar FT7 and I did 35 minutes of a boot camp type class tonight and I burned 288 calories. I don't weigh as much as you and…

I also have the Polar FT7 and my daughter has the FT4. We both have no complaints and love them, I bought mine on Amazon for about $65. My daughter paid like $50ish for hers on Ebay. When it comes to HRM's, I think Polar is going to be your best bet all the way around.

Well, let's see.... "you're getting so thin, your husband is going to have to shake the sheets to find you" "Sharon, it's ok to have a meal once in a while, you don't have to just waste away" "miss no butt" "she disappearing" from my boss when I asked him if he was having ice cream "I don't know, I'm trying to do what…

YAY for you!!! Working on getting there myself. Keep up the great work.

You've done marvelously! Congrats to you!!! :drinker: :flowerforyou:

I just don't understand the Fitbit adjustments anymore. It worked so well before and now, I am so disappointed in how it works. I am considering unlinking my device and just using it for telling me how many miles I finished in a day. I wish they would just get it right.

I have the Polar FT7 and I love it. Pretty much everybody swears by Polar HRM's. I paid something like $73 for mine. The FT7 is a step above the FT4. Both are great, though. My daughter has the FT4. All the best to you selecting the right one for you.

Such an inspiration! You two are doing great and it's great that you have each other. Congrats!!! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

I, too, have a Polar FT7 HRM and like most of you, I thought the burns were low. I couldn't believe it when I did Zumba for the first time with it on and only showed a burn of like 550 or something like that. I didn't think it was accurate because almost everyone I knew who did Zumba were saying they burned like 800-900…

You are doing a great job! Keep up the great work and a big CONGRATS to you!!! :drinker:

Likewise, feel free to add me. The more the merrier, right?

I'm in Delaware and supposedly right in the hurricane's path. Just praying and trusting God that it will not be as bad as they say. Everyone affected be safe!
-
Awesome! Congrats on both accomplishments! :flowerforyou: :drinker:

Hey Laniece!!! I totally agree with what you said about Zumba!!! To the OP, all the best to you as you continue your journey!

:flowerforyou: You've done a wonderful job and I'm happy for you! Keep up the great work!

Sweets are my biggest temptation. In particular, chocolate. I need to get my sugar intake in check. It's really hard, though.

I do a Zumba class 4 times a week! LOVE ZUMBA!!!!

Hormonal changes and my body's stubborness to release weight. Also water retentiion. YUCK!!!

What a variety of shapes and sizes within the same category. It helps some though and I haven't changed my goals any because of it.
