Unless you are a diabetic, you don't need to worry about sugar. Just track overall carbs.

It counts. Drink to thirst. The caffeine in the coffee and tea isn't enough of a diuretic to cancel out the water unlike popular belief. It does help curb cravings by making you feel full, but it won't magically make you lose fat by drinking more. You also get water from fruits and veggies as well. I don't see why people…

Eat almost a 1/4 cup a day. Love it. especially these...

0.75 servings. Or find an option that you can put in servings of 1oz and put 3 servings.

It's recommended to eat 0.5 grams of fat per total body weight. So figure that out and fill the rest of your calories with carbs, or even more fat and protein. I usually keep my fat around 80g a day. (thats not quite .5 per pound but still good)

Unless you have diabetes, there is no reason to count sugar, whether it's from fruit or candy. Just keep track of overall carbs.

You could do a 5-10 minute warm up before you lift, then do your main cardio after. Save your energy for the weights.

This is a thread I read on Bodybuilding.com a while ago before going on vacation. It's a good read as it's his experience on a cruise. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=144179471

I usually eat this... when I don't have room in my day for the real stuff.

Just count overall carbs and don't worry about sugar intake. Unless you have diabetes, it's a non issue.

Usually, regardless of the machine or exercise, they say if you are putting in a vigorous effort and getting up a good sweat, you can expect to burn about 100 calories every 10 minutes. If you're just using the recumbent bike while reading a book or texting, (like I see people doing all the time) I would expect the calorie…

Are you still losing weight or trying to do a bulk now? There is a limit to what you can do muscle-wise if you are still in a calorie deficit. If you are just looking for a change, I have been wanting to try Layne Norton's PHAT program. It sounds great. I'm gonna continue cutting until October with my 3 day, chest/bi,…

Eggs, dairy, red meat. (Grass fed is better if you can afford it.) Cooking with oil is great too. Olive oil and Coconut oil are my favs. Even make a stir fry and add some sesame oil and sriracha. Mmmm.

Do stay consistent. Don't ever believe that you can't do it.
-
You can't spot reduce fat. Sorry to say. Just keep losing fat all over, and it will eventually come off. The first place it sticks, is the last place it comes off, which is usually the belly/love handles for most people.

Protein too high, fat too low. Sources of macros don't matter if you hit them. Don't like yogurt, don't eat it. Eat Bacon.
-
I would try to get at least 1-1.5 grams of protein (any sources) per pound of lean body weight, which for you would probably be about 150g. Get 1/2 a gram of fat per pound of total body weight, so 60g at least, fill the rest of your calories for the day with carbs or even more protein and fat. As long as you are hitting…

You look right around 10%-12% body fat which is great. You're 18, prime years for adding some muscle. You're hungry because you're growing like a madman right now. Work up to maintenance and stay there for awhile, then try a clean bulk, (and by "clean" I mean just 200-300 over maintenance, not just clean calories, eat…

For once a good article. Thank you.

Blank day = Cheat day :P (whether it was planned or not is another story)

Please read this and readjust your calorie goals. http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/why-big-caloric-deficits-and-lots-of-activity-can-hurt-fat-loss.html

Sugar free jello. Very filling, low on calories. (20 calories a cup)

When I "cheat" I go over my total calorie limit. I wouldn't consider any food or meal a cheat, if it fit in your calories for the day. There is no food that will magically make you fat or not lose weight if you are still in a calorie deficit. Now that being said, I usually have a "cheat day" once a month.
-
It's not just you. The days I eat breakfast, I am more prone to cheat because I am starving the rest of the day. If I skip it, I can go until dinner sometimes and be fine. Martin Berkhan has an interesting article on "Why Breakfast Makes Me Hungry" Some people it does, some people it doesn't.…

As long as you aren't diabetic and it fits in your calories for the day, it's fine.

Pho. Extra meat.

Facts eh? You just said this was a joke. The joke was bad and you should feel bad. Got me though troll.
-
You said it wasn't your list. Now it is? We're not being mean, we are disagreeing with the crappy article. You should be happy to know that eating those "evil" foods will not make you stop losing weight or magically make you fat. That's a good thing!
-
Yeah, I was a 350 pound snowflake. I lost weight while still eating most of those things. Losing weight is calories in vs calories out. Period. You can even gain weight eating "healthy" foods if you are over your TDEE. If you aren't losing weight, you're eating too much or aren't busting your *kitten* in the gym. Stop…
