Thanks Minnie! That is the best advice yet. I am very time/goal oriented, so giving me a time frame really helps. If nothing happens after 4 weeks, I will try something else. I am too scared to up the calorie, but if after 4 weeks, I still don't lose i will give it a shot.

Okay, thank you! I think that is the best advice. I guess I am very goal orientated and schedule oriented, so having that time frame of 4 weeks certainly helps. I will just keep in going for 4 weeks. Thanks!

How much do you way and how much do you exercise though and how fast are you losing?
-
Yeah, I know. Its just my friend averaged 1278 calories every day and lost 15 pounds in 3 months. And we started out at the same weight. So, how come some people need to eat more calories and some less, I don't get it.
-
My BMR is 1341. It varies with your weight. I am VERY sedentary, except for the 3 X a week maybe that I work out, so I don't see how eating your BMR would help you lose weight, but anyway, I eat 1350 calories several days.

I am 5'3 142 pounds.I am on the cusp of being overweight for my BMI, and trust me, it is not muscle. I really want to lose 20 pounds, but just set my goals small so I feel like I can meet them. If I want to lose 0.8 pounds per week, I need to eat 1200 calories. It won't let me go lower than that, and 1200 was making starve…

Thanks all, but my diary is open and I log every single calorie. I only exercise a couple times a week, and when I do, I make sure there is a net of at least 1200 calories. I don't think its underrating because of the fact that I mess up and eat 1500 calories at least once a week. I don't know what it can be.
-
Yup, i've done it all. I eat between 1200 and 1350 calories a day, sometimes, I screw up, but then i get back on it and not that often.
-
How long has it taken everybody for the cravings to stop? I am on day 4 now and HUNGRY!
-
Great, thats exactly what I was looking for!
-
Yeah, the problem with the 30 day shred is that its the same thing every day with no rest. I would alternate every other day with an excersize that works a different part of your body so your body has some recovery time, but you are still burning calories
-
I think the better answer is to not eat them, but they are sooo tempting. :( I have a trip in 5 days and need to be nazi about it. I need to lose weight fast!
-
Its not my BMR, its my BMR multiplied by 1.2 to account for activity. That number is 1590 after I multiply for activity.
-
Are you journaling your calories everyday? For me I find that if I only do the workouts and think I am eating right, nothing happens, maybe even gains, but if I keep a net of 1200 calories including exercise, thats when the weight comes off.
-
Thanks for posting! I figured nobody cared, so I stopped posting. I am on level 2. Haven't exactly been doing it every day, but I am down 2 pounds, so thats good.
-
How do you get to the point where you are not hungry? Please give me your secret!
-
yeah, 10 days, I missed day 4 also. I am going to try to do it twice today, but we will see.
-
It's meant to be every 10 days or until it doesn't kill you anymore. :)
-
Just did day 3. I did 10 minutes of it twice to make up for yesterday. It was tough! Still having problems with the side lunges.
-
Day 2, I only made it through 10 minutes, but I did 75 minutes including 30ds the day before, so I think my body was just tired, I will do day three hardcore today!
-
Did day 1 yesterday. I can only do 10 regular pushups. the rest are the modifed version. I am having trouble doing the side lunges. I am not coordinated enough to move to the side and stick the butt out at the same time. That whole knee forward things she says not to do-thats me. I can do it on one side more than the…
-
Cool. how do you figure that out?
-
I am being kind of OCD about following the program exactly, so I can see results in 30 days.
-
Thanks all for the responses. I was afraid of this. Today is the first day is has seemed easier to me, so I might increase the weights.
-
Well, I bounced back because school got the best of me. but I lightened my load and am off for the summer, so I am going to try to make this time permenant.
-
K, I just did day one! It felt pretty easy for me. The one thing I just can't do is the side lunges. I am not coordinated enough to push my butt out whole moving to the side without moving my knee foward. At the end the bicicle crunches were pretty challenging as well. Congrats to everyone who posts for day one. We are off…

I hear you about school. I am also a student p;us a full time employee. I was doing so well, but then decided that studying just had to take top priority over health. I bounces back to a higher weight than I started at. Now I passed this big test and am taking the summer off school, so I have no excuses. Well, after this…

Oh wow. Good luck! Stick around here. We won't let you give up this time! How long ago did you do it? I did it in January, and lost about 8 pounds, but now I am back up higher than I started. :(
-
I last took my measurements on 3/21. I was about to post them, but then I realized that I have gained almost 5 pounds since then, so my measurements have probably grown also. I will post my weight, but tomorrow I will measure the rest. Starting weight: 137 Goal weight: 123

I started my own group, but was having trouble getting members. I started a 30ds group in January and had great results. We posted each day after we worled out and how we felt.
