She is not burning 500 calories a day. Starvation mode is a myth. BMR and TDEE are a best guess. Therefore you need to find the calories where you have energy to work out and are losing weight. I eat 1450 a day and I do plenty of exercise and have lots of energy. I am gaining strength and increasing my running speed and…

Try 1400 and don't eat back calories. If you find that you are tired/lack energy increase to 1500.

I used 5s and 10s depending on the exercise. The 10s felt easy on the rows but the 5s got heavy on the side lunge and lifts at first. I think it is better to use a few different weights if you have them.

I workout at home but I do use a bench for step-ups (I'm 5'2"). I eat 1450 cals a day (less than what the book suggests) and I am losing weight slowly but continuing to gain strength. I am in stage 3 and I can do a pull-up now. I am 116 lbs and my goal is 114 so I may up my cals a bit when I reach it.

I think it will improve with exercise and weight loss. I had twins when I was 20 and my stomach looked a lot worse than yours but it improved (tightened) and I am happy with it now.

You can get "high" from starving.

I agree with the barefoot shoes suggestion - should eliminate the heel strike when running.

I have had long dark hair most of my life. For a change I dyed it blonde. I got the roots done once but I could not stand being in the salon that long. Next I got filler put on and dyed it a dark red. I let it just grow out then one day I cut all the dyed part off myself - it was fun until I couldn't get a hair appointment…

I get Kaizen vanilla ice cream whey isolate from costco. It has 35 grams of protein and 150 cals per 40g scoop. It tastes really good and mixes well.

I feel better and stronger doing NROLFW 2x per week (down from 3x) . I run and do circuit training as well.
-
I do both but it is sometimes better to get used to one first for 3 or 4 weeks then add in the other, otherwise I would take at least 2 rest days a week. Maybe one week do 3x weights and 2x running and the next week do 2x weights and 3x running. Also, once you build up your running do only 1 long run a week.
-
I do a mix. On Mon and Wed I follow the NROLFW, including running intervals on Wed. On Tues I do the cardio from Body Revolution. On Thurs I run for distance and on Fri and Sat I do the circuit type workouts from Body Revolution which alternate between the front of the body and the back. I may add in more running as the…

Modify if you have to and pause it for a minute if you have to, but finish it. You will be amazed at how quickly your fitness will improve if you push through.

Do 3 sets of ten or eight on the stairs every second day. Start with your hands on the fourth stair and move down a stair each week until you are on the floor. My mom did this and it worked for her.

I prefer normal sized (strong/muscular) guys who move more fluidly and don't carry too much bulk.

I liked ripped in 30. No more trouble zones is good but long - It is good to alternate that one with burn fat boost metabolism. I thought 6 week 6 pack was OK (I have only tried level 1 a couple of times).

Good point.

I agree. My dad always said to get a trade. I went to law school just so I would make enough money to pay back my loans from undergrad. I know guys that went to trade school and were loaded by the time they were 22.

Sadly we are human and often do not turn our minds to the consequences of our actions. More loans = more debt just as more calories = more pounds. I still don't think it is right to condemn those who need help in rectifying their bad choices. I see this bill as trying to help people manage to pay back their loans and I…

Eat less because creating a calorie deficit is how you lose weight. This isn't unhealthy, just a fact. If you aren't losing weight you aren't creating enough of a deficit. I am 5'2 and weigh 117 lbs. I can eat about 1500 cals a day and stay the same weight. If I drop it down to 1200 cals I will lose weight. A good idea is…

i think if this bill passes then more loans will be paid back.

Consider the following by Richard Lavoie "That's not fair!" Similar phrases are repeated time and again. The juggling of "fairness" and "equality" presents a never-ending conundrum, and few of us realize that these concepts are not synonymous ...in fact, they are often total opposites. The classic work in moral development…

This sounds like a better way of doing things for sure.

Not a problem for me....but neither are some welfare programs. I don't begrudge when a disabled person or single parent is given a helping hand either.

Sounds great!

I think they should be fine. Remember that that pace will only be like a fast walk /trot for them. My dog doesn't really run unless I break into a sprint.
