i second the suggestion to loosen laces. your feet swell as you work out. keep them just tight enough so you're not slipping around. make sure your heel stays locked in place. if it doesn't you can tie a heel-lock to keep things in place. there's an example here…

If you provide the proper foods, diapers and wipes, are they used, or does she use whatever the hell she wants? Sounds like you already know the answer, and are seeking validation. If you don't feel as if your child is being cared for reasonably, then switch.

The diet needs to be adjusted to your caloric needs. If I had to train for a half on only 1500 calories, I wouldn't make it. Someone smaller than me would need less.

Celestial seasonings red zinger got me hooked on herbal teas. Anything with hibiscus and rose hips usually has a strong but not overpowering flavor.
