Read this: http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-cook-quinoa-63344 Short version? Rinse it. Toast it (it's important) Cook in broth. Enjoy. It's not as flavorless as rice, but the toasting and cooking in broth are important.

I like my dual-sided pedals. Clipless on one side, platform on the other. Expect to upgrade to Crank Brothers Mallets next season, it's nice to have a platform when tapping down.

ok, now what?

Sabotage would entail your husband sneaking things into your food. Perhaps baking a giant chocolate bar into a meatloaf, or filling the salt shaker with sugar. He's just being nice. Eat the treats, or don't. If it helps, you can send the galaxy counters to other MFPers in the USA. Maybe some smarties if it's handy.

Link disappeared and can't edit posts after an hour anymore... Pic was of Ardbeg Ten. But I'll take any of the Islays... Bourbon, I like Woodford and Maker's. Irish? Redbreast is pretty damn good.

Smells like burning hell and seaweed. Taste is amazing. And has the power to clear a room in the blink of an eye.

Very much. Email and text is nice, but something hand written on real dead trees is romantic, it's tangible. Plus, it's nice to re-read to bring another smile to my face. And if no one is looking, a little lick of the paper can't hurt. Try doing that with a text message. Not Even Once.

I don't think it fits either of them. They can't even put their knees together. Poor things.

There are several pubs in the US called the Elephant and Castle. I always laugh because I know the term refers to neither a castle nor an elephant...

tap the little feller with this every time he acts up: he'll get the point eventually

A declawed, nasty cat will still be a nasty cat. With teeth. And the surgery kind of sucks for the animal. So I'll repeat what others have said - cap the claws. Or you could try kitten mittens. Look at how happy this feline is!

"Mister" bugs me. Sir? Sometimes it's perfectly appropriate and expected.

I haven't had unannounced/uninvited guests since I was in my 20s. When I did, I didn't mind and would spontaneously cook for them.

We should all do a cleanse.

I came for the title, stayed for the gifs!

why would you even do that? i can imagine a group of tittering teenagers chucking hot dogs willy-nilly down high school hallways. heh, actually that *would* be kinda funny.

Sure do, when I style my mustache. You meant mustache wax, right?

only people who can't think for themselves.

I like a good Cali zin with barbecue. Cabernet franc with duck is just perfect. Why oh why is it almost impossible to find a straight up cabernet franc?

I love running. But it wasn't always that way. I had to set goals, first one was to complete a 5k. Training was a chore at first, but then I was motivated more when I saw progress. For the longest time, maybe until I did my first 5k, it was only the goals that kept me motivated. And eventually, something just clicked, and…

The Show Malbec. It's some good stuff.

I like Bota Box Zin. Ends up being less than $10 a bottle. And I don't feel bad about cooking with it, either.

Eat. Longest I've ever run without some sort of boost is 7 miles. Any further than that, and I need a Gu packet or some other calorie source. Just be sure to eat before you think you need it - it takes a good mile or so before you feel better. On the longer runs, I was averaging 12 min/mi. At that pace, I found that a Gu…

Positive to this: you will never repeat your failure. Godspeed to you!
