  • Oatmeal is even better if you use old fashioned oats. I just heat the water in the microwave and put the oats in and let it set for a while, it is just like boiling it on the stove.

  • Try some protein, instead of carbs. Eggs? I have a half a chicken breast and half an apple for breakfast. eat the apple first with 2 cups of water. It keeps me full til lunch. I am a big eater too!
  • Oh, and I work out twice a day. In the morning I do weights, or yoga, or muscle ball. At night I go to the pool (due to ankle injury) and do something in the pool for an hour (aerobics, water walk, tread water) and I walk the dog 1 mile every day (mainly because she won't leave me alone unless I do).

  • My suggestion is to take it slow so you don't hurt yourself.
  • I quit salting my food. I hardly eat any processed food. The only salting I do is some Lowrys seasoned salt on my chicken and fish. I quit salting potatoes and corn when I cook them. Now when I eat processed foods, it taste gross because it is so salty. I have been doing this for almost 90 days. :wink:

  • I have been doing this since june 1, 2010. I have averaged .66 lbs per week. not 6, - .66 Better than gaining. Blew out my ankle at about the same time. Still hurts but am going to got to aqua aerobics tonight. Makes it fee better.
