I also had tumors grow on my liver from birth control pills. I'd not have known until one of them ruptured last summer. Pain was intense from the internal bleeding. It was diagnosed as being a problem with my gall bladder despite my never having had gall bladder issues. I trusted the Dr's and had my gall bladder removed…

I make sweet potato 'chips' in the oven. Slice em thin, spritz with a little olive oil, sprinkle a bit of garlic powder and back until lightly browned. Delish.

Toss some carrots into a food processor, wiz em up and saute for a bit then add to the pot. It'll add texture and deliciousness. This is coming from a woman who isn't a carrot fan - until now. They are fairly cheap and will add bulk.

This poser stuff cracks me up. Why the judgement on how people ride? Aren't bikers supposed to be 'different' than non-riding people? I suspect it was that I didn't wet the strap enough, though I usually do. Sunday the weather was cold, windy, and really dry. I wasn't sweating to help with the strap connection. Maybe it was the static thing, I know my heart rate wasn't sky high - at least it didn't feel that way. Thanks for the input/comments.

I'm down only 4 pounds, but 9 inches. I'm totally happy with the inches. I was barely able to do a plank before this.... That is no longer the case! Plank on!

I rode this weekend. Started out in a leather jacket then went to mesh as the day warmed. Gorgeous day! These are the days that make me happy that I don't live in Washington (state) any more. Especially with the weather they've been having lately! I had friends without power during that last storm for 5 days! Yikes!

I love them grilled. Cut in half, marinate with a little olive oil and powdered garlic - or whatever spices you like, then put on a vege pan on my grill. I like them really caramelized. Delish.

I'm going to do some strength training on a total gym, and alternate that with some fun classes - belly and pole dancing. What can I say, Groupon had some good deals! And then, on weekends I'll do some standup paddling and if weather is bad I'll pick up a shred workout or some other video. That's my plan.
