Agreed. I became vegetarian about a year ago and relied heavily on soy based foods. Within 6 months I actually thought I was hitting early menopause, my cycle was so mucked up. Cut out the soy and 2 months later it's all back to normal. Scary stuff!

I total about 500-600 for breakfast, but it's all good foods (a nut & seed muesli I make myself, almond milk, chia seeds and flax seed oil) so I don't beat myself up about it. Almond milk is super easy to make yourself also. You just need a blender and something to strain it with (I use a "nut mylk" bag, but cheesecloth or a fine strainer will work as well).
