Where is George Carlin when you need him….. well he’s dead but you get the point.

Three miles a day, everday is not too much training. You need to run a lot more than that to "over train." As long as you take an occasional rest day your fine. My guess is you're try to run too fast. Slow way down. If you can't speak in complete sentences while running your going too fast. Try running with regular walk…

I have two strong willed kids and we have had issues with them getting to sleep. The key we found was consistancy. I read to the kids, then I put them to bed by 8. If they wake up we will comfort them, but then back to sleep in their bed. If you cave and let them sleep with you they learn to hold out until you cave again.…

Running a marathon is a commitment. Have you looked at training plans? I've used the Hal Higdon programs before. But from what you wrote you may want to try the Run Less/Run Faster program. You run three days a week and cross train two days a week. Its a hard program though. I use an app that was like $2 to track it.

I too was a 15 minute miler once. I would suggest the Run Keeper app. You can set it to tell you your pass at set time or distance marker. Then slowly try to not a few seconds off your mile time. When running/jogging pick a speed where you can still talk in complete sentences without gasping. Remeber walking is NOT a bad…

I get up at 4:45 in the morning to workout, but I go to bed around 10 at night. Give your body some time to adjust and you'll be fine. It took me a could of weeks to get used to it. Now I wake up everyday at 5 am even when I don't plan to run.

Two pages and no one has said Brian Regan. That is just crazy.

I'm doing T25 and have done insanity. I would stick with T25, insanity caused major issues for my knees. I don't have those issues with T25. Yes, there is a modifer person, but the DVD also starts with a warraning that you you need to be careful as it is a high impact workout.

At my first marathon there was around 6,000 people. I was the fattest one by far. I have ran that same marathon 6 times and each year there more people bigger than me. Use your gym situation as motivation. I am much more impressed with a heavy set girl pushing herself sweating buckets becuse she is working hard than I am…

Strength training will help you build musles in your leg which will help as well.

Wow, usually you have to work harder to make raciest and sexiest comments. Hats off to the idiot savant. Time for a sexual harassment refresher. Congrats on your weight loss. Your picture shows a health woman with curves. Way to go! Though in the future please consider your co-workers in your weight loss plan. As we all…

It sounds like he has learned from his parent's that there is no conseqences for his actions. If he is a threat to others can he be kicked out of the program? As a parent, I would only "file a report" if an adult hit my kid (and maybe not then depending on the situation). Everyone has the right to defend themselves. The…

I was 392 at my heaviest. Keep up the good work. It took me years before I was happy with were I was. I still need to lose weight, but now I'm happy in my own skin. I lost my weight mostly through exercise. I went from not being able to climb up two flights of stairs without catching my breath. Now I run marathons. You can…

I too have small gluts (butt) which sucks as a runner. My triainer has me do goblet squats lunges, band routines to help build my gluts.

I've ran 5 past marathons and have two planned for this year. All runners are free to add me.

Is not skinny code for - he likes girls with big boobs and a butt? If so you can lose weight and still keep those assets (see what did there). Take up weight lifting to help keep what goods you've got.

For a 5k don't over think it. Regular socks are fine. You don't need to worry about expensive run gear or be too worried about what you eat until you get into double digit miles. Just eat whatever you normally eat before you workout. Wear whatever you wear when you normally run in. In short just do what you did for…

Running the Fargo Full in May my 6th marathon then the Twin Cities Marathon in October my 7th. I'm sure I'll do a couple of halfs in there as part of the training.

I've used Higdon for ever 1/2 and full marathon. Very easy to use.

Anyone is free to add me. I'm training for my 6th marathon.

FIRST: Bi polar is not multiple personality (dissociative Identity disorder). Bipolar is characterized by periods of manic and depressive periods. For the other stuff: If skin color or paleness or religion is a deal breaker for someone do you want to be with them?
