I use Myprotein Impact Whey and it's about 25g per 98kcal depending on the flavour.

I have a pair of Sennheiser CX300 IIs which I adore and have used for running in the past. However, a few weeks ago I got a free pair of headphones with my protein powder (weird, right?) and they stay in my ears, so I decided to use those instead and minimise the damage to my darling Sennheisers.

If you make protein shakes with coffee, make the shake first, make some coffee (slightly cooler than normal, perhaps) then add the shake to it as you would milk. Otherwise, the protein will denature upon impact with the hot coffee and you'll essentially get lumpy coffee.

So, afaik, cellulite is caused by a network of collagen which lies over subcutaneous fat and causes a sort of 'orange peel' appearance as that which isn't 'held down' by the collagen is able to push through the gaps. The only real way to deal with it is to lower your body fat percentage as less fat = less 'popping through'…

Yeah. Now you have the body of a dieter, that pizza will literally kill you.

Use it to push a bit harder in my workout, which balances it out somewhat.

OP just reminded me to take my medicine.

I get the same with anxiety (not so fun). Usually I feel absolutely horrible (stomach cramps, panic & palpitations) before I go out to run...and as soon as I'm out there, it just melts away and I can use the adrenaline for something useful.

Cheap stuff to stock your cupboard (I live in the UK so it might be a bit different for me): Pasta, rice, oats...poss. flour Dried fruit Tins of chopped tomatoes or passata, for soup and sauce bases Tins of beans (even cheaper dry, but take longer to prepare) Tins of anchovies (make really good cheap pasta sauce like…

Ooh, carbonara sounds attractive, thanks!

Bump (as I'm making protein pancakes tomorrow which use 3x egg whites). I love custard but are there any non-desserts that incorporate yolks, more creative than an omelette?

Use a smaller cup?

I try not to comment on 'under their calorie goal' statuses unless I can actually view their diary (as I get a lot of friend requests from those with EDs and I know that under =/= good). I understand about the red being a bit of a 'trigger', though.
-
I get friends to set me goals, because then I feel motivated to exercise so as not to disappoint them.

Of course, for that highly desirable & potentially fatal condition, alkalosis!

I still fit stuff I like into my everyday calories, but on the 11th of every month I will have a 2000 (net) kcal 'never mind about the macros' day as it helps to stop me from overindulging on the other days. I usually focus more on the calories than what I'm eating but it usually consists of regular meals + a couple of…

Assuming what you said about cigarette smoke was true, why would more acid help to level out the body's pH (surely adding more acid would just lower the pH further), and why do we need something to level it out when we already have these very handy buffer systems in place to do precisely that?
-
WHY do people keep saying that lemon alkalises the body?! a) lemon is acidic b) we have BUFFERS in our body precisely to PREVENT alkalisation, because if your blood were too alkaline, you would be dead!!
-
There's no reason not to, other than the fact that some people will find it easier to maintain a deficit if they cut added sugars from their diet. It's just personal preference.
-
I think the idea is that by cutting out added sugar, you eat less sugar overall (and therefore cut your carbs and possibly calories which makes loss easier).

Everything!! but especially some pan-fried cod (with a little bit of lemon) and home-made bread. Mmmm.

Mine does during my period. I presume you're not menstruating, but the water retention issue is probably the same.

Try not to panic about the diabetes management. I imagine that they will eventually get back to you - of course, it doesn't help for you to be on your own for a while, but you'll hear from them soon I'm sure. Light exercise can really help to boost mood and control appetite. I go running for this very reason; it helps me…

Since I moved into my new flat, there's a big mirror right in front of the shower-bath that relentlessly shows every bit of flab one could possibly imagine on a naked body. It's truly ruthless. Today after my run, I found I didn't have to turn away from my reflection when I reached to get some shampoo.

Why not look into the North Face leggings? I have a few things by them and it's always been great quality stuff - you might not end up having to worry about working out in thongs that way, either!
-
I feel like this on cold days when I have a run schedules. I tell myself I'll at least work out for 10 minutes, and if it's really awful, I can always come back - which I never do, because I'm always into my run by then. My thoughts as I leave the house are always something like 'why am I doing this to myself?!' but…

Switch to caffeine! :drinker:

Worse than coworkers are family members, imo, because they usually get personally offended/concerned if you don't accept the mountains of gluttony they bestow upon you in an attempt to show that they care.

Ask her to carry something for you every time you walk together on the stairs.
