  • Carrie1610: Well done on cutting down. I used to drink 4 or 5 cans a day and I know how hard it is. Lots of water and fruit teas (but especially water) will help with the headaches. I still have them if I'm out, but only 3 or 4 a week and hopefully will cut down more. Keep it up! Since I have cut down, I noticed I almost…
  • The way my back looks, especially when wearing a bra Muffin top! Can never, ever find jeans that fit me I don't buy clothes that fit, I buy stuff to cover me up The double chin But...we'll get there :)
  • I'm on a budget too, and I just found it's cheaper (and you don't feel like you're dieting as much) if you cook as much as you can yourself. Even low fat convenience foods are expensive and have some weird additives in them. I make a lot of soup with root vegetables (swede, carrot, parsnip, sweet potato etc), usually costs…
  • Beautiful smile and great body
  • As a lot of people have said, prove them wrong. Sometimes it can be the biggest thing spurring you on. I know sometimes I probably mutter to myself in the gym a bit - but I just work out all the stress and all the things that have got to me, particularly comments about my weight. So now I look a bit mental as well, but it…
  • I have the same problem and it's taking a while but not lost that much yet. I'm wondering if the lower bit (kind of flappy and stretchmarked after pregnancy) is going to go away but I think the upper bit, just under my ribcage is getting better. I have to say - great work so far - keep it up!
  • I fell off the wagon around the same time and have only just started again - feel free to add me if you like :)
  • I am now on the biggest size (in jeans) that most clothes shops stock and I don't want to start buying plus-size clothes because it feeling like giving in, so time to change.
  • I got picked on a lot at school because of weight/red hair/generally being a bit of a weird kid. I didn't really help myself sometimes. But I went from being chubby to being pretty overweight because I comfort ate. I'm definitely 'the fat one' in my family and from a young age my dad has always shamed me about it, in front…
  • Baby steps, i guess. I'd like to beleive I can do this long term - I lost weight once as I was told I wouldn't have children if I didn't. Now I have a 6 month old, have put a lot of the weight back on, and I want to lose the weight and keep it off. I guess I'm trying to change the way I see food, and change my lifestyle,…
  • I just wanted to say, best of luck. I'm climbing back on the wagon after giving birth myself and it can be really tough. I havn't been hotting the gym much as I don't have time/childcare but even getting out with baby in a pushchar is a good start, and some sunshine and fresh air has to be good for them too. Don't be too…
  • Many diet books/sites recommend you weigh yourself no more than once a day at roughly the same time - I usually weight first thing in the morning, before eating and after i've been to the toilet. Got to admit, i havn't been measuring myself, just going by how my jeans feel :P
  • I'm taking this as well, but I think most of the weight I've put on/kept on is due to diet, not the pill. I know what you mean about the mood swings though.
  • I'm pretty short (5' 3'') and trying to lose 71 lbs. Will send you a FR :)
  • I do wear them in public, because even though mine have gone from a 36A to a 36C (just had a baby boy :)) I don't like the shape of them much - they just look nicer in a bra. But at home I usually go without, and I never wear one in bed. Just something I always got told, not sure if it makes a difference.
