Weight lifting does help, but it also depends on your age, your skin, etc. Some people can lose the weight and don't have any skin issues at all. Some people do. It also depends on how slow (or fast) you lose the weight. I have some skin issues and I"m trying to tighten it up, but I know it will never go away completely…

In all honesty, everyone at my gym is really friendly and kind. I've never had any problems. I am working my way into the free weights again and I don't care what ANYONE says or thinks. But you need to feel comfortable with working out. You'll get there when you are ready.

I ran my first (and only) half marathon last March and my only goal was to finish. I didn't care that people passed me. Enjoy yourself!! And congrats on signing up!

I wouldn't even worry about it. Everyone is at the gym for the same reason. And you may never know, they may have started off just like us.

I have 4 tattoos and most are covered this time of year. However, in the summer you can see them because of the other options of clothes. I don't have an issue with it and neither does the company I work for.

It depends on what works for YOU! For me, I’m all about the morning workout. I love to get there early before work and I come to work in a the BEST mood (most of the time). Plus, I don’t have that looming over me all day long. I am not a supporter of working out at night. And the gym is hardly busy at all at 6am.
