Get under 100 pounds Complete 2 ultra running races, 2 multi day cycling events and run a marathon or two for fun and also hope get a sub 3hr 110km road cycling race time...

Nice one, hope you love running it gets quite addictive when you start racing longer distances :D

I want to get to just under 100 pounds... Just... just because it sounds nice... Oh and I am short, so umm yea, I would weigh less anyway at ideal weight :P And yes they darn well do suck! Last 2 months I been trying to get under 130 pounds... I'm hovering now at 138 after getting back up to 145 for a few weeks "upping my…

I've never been one for requiring motivation so please understand that up front when you hear my view of it. I love it, it is awesome, sure, calories burnt, I don't care about, steps is nice to know, but time and fuel option to ME is the two major selling points. I have had countless people come up and ask me what I was…

Really? The only one I am aware of is hyperthyroidism, which isn't all too bad from what I've read.. What else could it be? I am actually interested... Would be nice to know what is happening to be honest :/

No offence seriously... but I've lost almost that.. sitting on 7 pounds in last 5 days.... You do not need drugs to do that... just a healthy metabolism and a will to eat less than usual... nothing special... If you cannot comprehend that weight loss, then your metabolism might be slowing down in my eyes... I have…

Well considering human biology and mechanics work different... I'll stay away from that study, I will however agree with the theory behind it as it is indeed very sound... However the body is a living organism that changes over time, and as such adaptive thermogenics cause metabolic slowdown and increases... What this…

I get told I'll have loose skin, or some skin is loose when I see I am actually still fat and have fat... I lost 60lbs, now almost another 10, and so far no loose skin it seems, except people (note: family) who apparently say I do because my stomach hangs slightly, but when pull in, it is 100% flat... Hardly any movement…

I will 100% disagree here... at least in Thailand in a nice "bar" they are very attentive lol... ;) know what I mean :P
-
I'd like to disagree on that last one... LOL!

I love mine... And to be honest, any true person who trains for long running or cycling isn't going to look at heart rate monitors for long... I think it motivates you to be active, which it certainly does a good job of doing, looks snazzy, and is pretty cool.... I have 2 heart rate monitors, and haven't used since before…

Log only at end of day... or log what you will have before the day begins then have a rule to follow? As for training... why is it bad to train 3 hrs? I do regular runs of that time... It is all good :D

Most I've done in one go is around 124... Bro challenged me lol... I do sets everyday, and I surf and run a lot... I think after a point it isn't about strength but endurance... And surfing helps with that as well as need to paddle etc when surfing haha :)

I'm sorry, since when does the US have jurisdiction over another countries service? Sure, your argument might work flying within certain states etc, but different countries and continents to boot? Each has their own local laws and services to enforce, and they are NOT required to bend over for your home countries laws.…

Not really, as terms of use the airline on their own can decide for whatever reason to void your ticket and refund you your money. Just because you bought the ticket does not guarantee your seat. In fact I don't know about america, but it is also common to overbook airplanes, and then offer money to stay for later flight…

Nope, in fact fats and proteins are the only two essential macros your body truly needs. Sure you need carbs, but not much at all, and if you get too low your body will change proteins into carbs via neoglycogenesis. And besides, protein is the one thing that most people usually eat too little of. If I train hard sometimes…

Ok guys, sorry about those messages.... I am kind of disturbed and it was uncalled for. Am removing them rather... I mean sheesh, didn't mean to cause such a commotion... really :/

I do remember something now that think about it. One report stated something about weight loss as 80% diet, and only 20% training. Holds pretty much true as it is hard to train away extra calories, however not impossible, but very hard, however you can stop training 100%, change your diet, and still lose weight.

Photoshop :D I am kind of a techno geek.. I work currently as an engineer in a computer repair centre and do software development and graphic design in free time haha ^_^

Ok my advice... Keep going... There will be a point where you THINK you are tired, but your not really, your just not used to pushing hard. It is those times you push that you'll improve the most. Of course, please make sure your healthy if your 300 pounds to run/walk for a good distance before pushing too hard... :) And…
-
Umm sure it is all you need, but better question is are you the lazy kind or achieving kind? Do you run fartleks? YASSO 800?, hill repeats? LSD runs? Structure for training? If you just go for a jog every day or two, then not really going to help, maybe tiny bit, but not much as your body will adapt and you wont lose much…

Well, I am different and from the real world. Atkins works, starving works, fasting works, truth is everything WORKS. The difference between success and failure is your mindset AFTER and the adjustment periods. For instance, going on PSMF while great for a week, it still requires planning coming out in order to readjust…

Sure, add me if you want a narcissistic law lover, hardware/software engineer. Then again, I'm a bit screwy in head, so whatever, and besides, the wolf does not lie :o As if you don't look in the mirror each day and assume you will die and try change for the better as might be your last, someday you will be right and it…

And as for other poster... Isn't it protein sparing modified fast? And that works like a dream! Is awesome to do just before competition :D apart from decreasing weight, you also deplete carb and glycogen stores, so the 2-3 days prior to event you can carbo load without a problem! :D
-
Wait, everyone says halt... it is bad it is fad etc. What about fasting? People fast for lent, sometimes 6 days on, then Sunday off. And they do that about 6 weeks or so.. they don't look like skeletons, nor skin hanging off. As for gaining back, it is mental... if you want to change, you can... if not, well then honestly…

Considering I am a programmer and hardware engineer... I do know the issues.. and quite frankly, compared to what people said, they were non-issues. Could people have died? Did the world end? NO! So the hype about a sky net takeover like in terminator really in all honesty was stupid and irritating at best. Oh, and all…

Adjust your thinking and thoughts. In fact, wake up each day look yourself in the mirror and ask. If today was your last day, would you be happy? Because eventually today will be your last day, so you should be happy.

1200 is a lot... it depends how you make it up though.. Snack 3 crackers with potato slice cheese approx 180-200c x 2 = 360-400c in snacks. breakfast personally I skip, but if want, one egg + toast = around 150-170c. Can add a banana for an extra 90-110c. Lunch, salad or leftovers, or umm usually for me is my biggest meal…
