Hi Ive just completed Week 4 day 1, am loving it!

I have just completed a 5k race for life last weekend (running the whole thing) and was training 3x a week for 12 weeks, a similar plan to C25K but less aggressive. I went from zero fitness (just had a baby) to comfortably running for 35 mins + and im not a natural runner. Im so chuffed and plan to continue, my advice…

well done! Ivve got my 1st 5k this weekend! x

Hi feel free to add me, ive just completed a plan similar to C25k , since then ive completed 2 5ks with my first race on sunday. I have gone to being extremly unfit (had a baby 4 months ago) to running further than i ever thought i could! And i want to go on and do more! Good luck x

Walking with the pushchair and a baby carrier is pretty much all ive been doing along with the odd bit of swimming. and ive lost this weight in 3 months. Ive just hit my pre pregnancy weight and am still losing so it can be done. This obviously with watching what I eat. Good luck!

Apologies, i obviously didnt make myself clear, read the post above your last, it explains it a lot better. There is no bullying going on at all. if you arent quite sure what MFP does dont comment as you will confuse the OP who is only asking for advice

The 1300 figure you refer to is bodily functions like breathing and pumping blood to your heart etc. Most people generally do a bit more than that each day. With respect if you are such the expert, why are you posting threads asking others how to lose weight. Thats how MFP works and WHY it works.
-
There is already a deficit built in to MFP so if she follows what MFP says and stays at or slightly under the net calories she will lose weight. Your post didnt take that into account

i believe everybody is different and what works for one wont necessarily work for another but here is my experience.. I started MFP at the beginning of the year on 1200 cals per day, i would exercise to make up my calories basially so i could eat more, my exercise consists of walking with a pushchair and the odd bit of…
