that is awesome, I was never a runner. I was always a sprinter in school. Hated running long distances. I started in March with C25K and got bored with it so I started running a mile to a mile and a half. I am up to 2 miles now. Great job, I have been buying 10's also. I actually got into a pair of 8's from a resale shop! Its an amazing feeling. Keep up the good work.

I am 43 yrs old, 5ft 3 and CW is 156. I eat around 1600 calories a day and run 2 miles 3-4 times a week. I lose about 1 lb a week depending on water rention.

You entered a 5K! thats huge. Think of it this way, would you have done this a year ago? Look how far you have come! Failure isnt falling down or stopping to walk. Failure is not starting or not getting back up. Keep going and be proud. You are a champion for taking control of your health.

Awesome job, i started running in March with the couch to 5K, I got to the 5 week and just got bored with it so I downloaded my own songs and started running. I am up to 1.5 miles with ease now. I am registering for my first 5K as soon as they open regestration. Its November 17th. I am excited and scared. I can run 1.5 miles easily now so I need to start increasing that. Good luck
