You want to make sure that you eat your 1210 daily. If you are trying to lose weight, then don't eat back the calories that you burn. If you are just trying to maintain, then eat back your calories that you burn. What you are today in the 1100 is ok, but try and get closer to that 1210 daily goal. Good luck!

Try the 30DS by Jillian Michaels. You will just need to get some free weights. All her DVD's are good. You can check them out on youtube.

Are you eating calories back that you burned (you shouldn't be if you are trying to lose weight)? Eating to little? Too much sodium? There are so many factors as to why you are gaining.

Make sure you are eating enough protein, cut down on sugar and carbs. Unused carbs turns into sugar, therefore turns into fat. You should talk to your trainer and ask him what you should eat for calories, as he/she knows the routine you are on, but NEVER eat your calories back if you are trying to lose weight, you will…

We are our own worst enemies, especially women we are WAY TO HARD on ourselves and sometimes things are never good enough. We are perfectionists and want our bodies to look that way. Well, no one or nothing is perfect, just learn to be happy with what you have accomplished. We want what other people have, but you don't…

Heavy lifting does not always make you bulky!

I am almost done with the whole program and am going to do it again. It's ok to feel exhausted, because as you go through the program you will feel yourself getting stronger and believe me, the people in the video are tired, exhausted and taking breaks themselves. You will even hear Shaun T say he needs a break. I would…

The more you do the same type of exercise, the more your body will get conditioned, therefore you need to trick your body to get your heart rate up. Maybe you can start running short distances on your walk, this way you get your HR rate up to where you want it.

Everyone is different and it depends on what kind of workouts you do. I do hardcore intense workouts 6x a week and I am supposed to eat 1870 a day, and not eating back my calories. I am 5'2" and 128, want to get down to 12 If you eat back the calories you burn you end up maintaining your weight and not actually dropping.…

In fact 1 pound of anything is 1 pound. Muscle does not weigh more then fat, its just distributed throughout your body differently. Muscles are dense and compressed, where fat is scattered in large masses thru your body, so while it seems muscle weighs more an fat, it doesn't.

When I had my oldest son, I had a hard time getting rid of the weight, so I started WW and went to the gym 5-6 days a week (this was 7 years ago) and I learned then never deprive yourself of anything your body wants, all in moderation. In WW they taught us that if we wanted that snickers bar, kit kat etc, get the…

When using the free weights you are using your bigger muscles, therefore going to burn more calories. The bigger the muscle you are using the more calories you will burn. Also, switch up your routine, if you continue to do the same workouts, your body will get used to it and you will see no change, you need to shock your…

I don't think you can lose the weight. Think about it all that sugar turns into fat and then in turn stores itself into your body. You will then be tired to workout, because you are not feeding your body the vitamins and nutrients it needs, hence gaining weight.

Sounds like you have strained your hip flexoir. You need to stretch it out. Hope you feel better soon!

I use the weight room all the time and when there are weights that I can not lift, I first ask if someone is using them, because in between sets, some guys will go get some water or walk around and if no one is using them, then I will ask. Usually, I make a joke of it and say one of these days I will just be able to throw…

One question no one answered was, what do the levels mean on the cardio machines. The higher the level the more resistance the machine gives you..level 5 is harder than level 1 and so on. Also, you are doing a lot of "bulky" leg workouts. The elliptical and rowing are mainly leg workout and tend to bulk you up. Running,…

You may be losing fat, but gaining muscle, therefore the scale will not change much. I have weighed the smae for sometime now, but have noticed that my clothes fit differently and muscles are appearing that I have never seen before. Sometimes the number on the scale doesnt mean anything if you are weight lifting. As…

No, it is not a circuit training class. Everyone is doing the same thing at the same time, using the straps the entire time. The whole purpose of TRX is to strengthen not only your core, but your entire body. Form is the most important aspect of this class, if you dont have the right form then you could end up injuring…

Yes, you can use that as burnt calories. There is an option to pick painting. You burnt more calories then you think if it was 6 hours. Good job!

If you have a smartphone, download the app "mapmyrun", it has tons of workouts listed in it. Once you hit start will will start and depending on how long you do your workout will depend on your calorie burn.

I usually notice it go down as soon as I start. I usually dont gain more then 1-2 lbs water weight anyway, so for me its not big deal, but nice to know that it goes away so quickly.

I love the 30DS. I got great results! All of her DVD's are awesome.

Have you contacted your Dr? It could be a thyroid issue or like before someone said you could be pregnant. Looks like it might more of an issue then diet and exercise.

Dont stop cardio, if anything maybe just reduce it. Cardio is whats going to help you burn fat. Weight training is going to give you the strength you want. Do cardio every other day, along with abs every other day. On the opposite days do your strength training one day upper then other day lower. Make sure you have a rest…

You need to eat back you calories. Whatever you burn, you need to put back, you are starving your body, therefore your body is living off the stored fat in your body and you will NOT see change! I hit a plateau as well, and upped my calories and noticed some change. I went from 1570 to 1680. You are doing an intense…

Height: 5'2" Age/Gender : 35/Female Highest weight: 175-180 (1st pregnancy) Lowest weight: 128 (after 1st pregnancy) Current weight: 131 Goal weight: 125 I am not going to put my weight done from when I was a teen, because its so unrealistic, I know that I could never get that low again, plus its not healthy, I am 35 and…

Try doing cardio every other day and inbetween cardio days do some weight training. Your body does need time to recover. Just try switching things up.
-
You definitely need to eat back the calories you burn, other wise you put your body into a starvation mode and it will live off the stored fat you have and your weight will go nowhere. I also workout 5-6 days a week by doing cardio, TRX, ab classes, spinning classes and body blast classes and was eating 1570 calories, and…

What we all need to realize in this post is, this youngman took it upon himself to lose the weight, he was getting discouraged and tired of being made fun of. He had a reason to get the weight off, like all of us on here. SO why be so hard on him??? Yes, he is only 18 and yes it is so much easier for a younger person to…

You are still so young, but do realize that we are women and these things do happen to us, its called life. Your body is changing, but for the better. Your body is getting ready for your child bearing years, and there is not much you can do about that. Be proud of your body and stop thinking that you look fat or like a…
