  • Yep, I donated!
  • I SOOOOOO agree with you! I'm in Tucson and when it's 100 degrees it's HOT, humidity or not...and we have humidity AND heat in July/Aug/Sept!
  • I'm pulling for Tara. She's awesome! She won soooooo many of the challenges and has never been below the yellow line. She deserves it! I don't care for Ron much anymore after a couple of weeks ago when he schemed to get Kristin kicked off and tried to pretend he had nothing to do with it. But I do have to give him props…
  • Yeah! Great job! :drinker:
  • LMAO, that's great!

  • I'm making the Biggest Loser New Orleans Chicken with Apricot Mustard Sauce, and some wild rice pilaf on the side. NEW ORLEANS RUBBED CHICKEN WITH APRICOT MUSTARD SAUCE Ingredients: 1 tablespoon dried thyme 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon cayenne, to taste 1/8 teaspoon salt 4 small…
  • I have the same issue! I count myself at a small frame though since my fingers just barely overlap if I try really hard.
  • Total sense!!! I'm at 2 lbs past my goal and am still unhappy. I'm very proud of myself but feel like I could stand to lose a few more. People at work tell me I look too skinny (of course, the see me in scrubs, not regular clothes). If you go to SELF.com they have a "happy weight" calculator that might give you an idea of…
  • Hi everyone, I need some ideas for some relatively low cal Easter desserts that I can take to work on Sunday for our potluck. Thanks!
  • WOW! Great job! I wish I'd thought of that before and after pictures thing. Then maybe I'd feel like the 14.5 lbs I've lost actually show! I know I've lost but I can't SEE it.
  • That's AWESOME! Way to go!
  • Thanks everyone!:blushing:
  • I'm 1/2 pound away from my goal! Yeah! I'm very proud of myself for sticking with it...usually I give up after a couple of weeks. Only problem is that now that I'm here, I feel like I need to lose more. But at the same time I'm afraid if I lose too much more I'll have a really hard time maintaining it. I'm celebrating what…
  • My sister is about 11 years older than me and has always been super skinny. I think right now she's at her heaviest and is maybe 115 lbs. She's about 5'2". She got her dad's genes, I got our mom's genes. Our mom is obese (she's doing weight watchers though and is down about 25 lbs! I'm so proud of her). I struggle to keep…
  • Yay! Good for your! Keep it up!
  • Congrats! That's awesome! Have fun spending that money!
  • Fitness magazine has one through their website. But if you don't have a lot of weight to lose you can't really see much of a difference in the before and afters.

  • I make a good london broil (marinated in lemon juice and seasonings) and pair it with Cooking Light goat cheese au gratin potatoes. Those are yummy and don't taste low cal at all. I was nervous (so was hubby) about the goat cheese part but it really is good. He also likes the shredded chicken tacos that I make that someone…
  • Yep, I hopped on the Twilight bandwagon just last night. I'm about 5 or 6 chapters in and so far so good.
  • Made this for dinner tonight and it was pretty good. I did add some salt and pepper and a little more garlic powder to the dressing though. I doubled recipe to feed 4. PORK 2 tsp flour 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp onion powder 1/4 tsp ground cumin 1/4 tsp chili powder 1/8 tsp ground red pepper 1 tsp low sodium soy sauce 1 large…
  • Thanks! I don't mind too much if they charge me dinner price for lunch portions. Small price to pay for health I'm afraid if I ask them to box up have the dinner It'll be sitting in the box screaming for me to eat it. If I do that I'll have to have a family member hold it for me out of my sight! LOL
  • Why is it that we ALWAYS go out to eat when it's someone's birthday? Ugh, that's not my question, it's just frustrating, cause we have a lot of b-days in my family this month and we're going out for ALL of them. This time it's Olive Garden. Does anyone know if they'll give you lunch sized portions for dinner if you request…
  • Great ideas, thanks! And 4% more calories? Wow, if that's true that's awesome! I've discovered a couple of Ice Cream not so guilty pleasures - Nestle Drumsticks now makes "Lil Drums" in 2 flavors, only 140 cals each. And Weight Watchers Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream cups are only 140 calories and just like Skinny Cow…
  • Oh I love those Mr Salty snacks. YUMMY. I just ate one of the reese's 100 calorie snacksters.
  • Thanks! I've read that PMS and weight gain thread, and trust me - no way, no how am I stepping on the scale for the next few days! LOL
  • So glad I'm not alone. I just ate lunch - a lean pocket and an apple, then about 10 minutes later had a 100 calorie snack. That's about it for me since my dinner will use up most of the rest of my calories. And I have a loooooong way to go till dinner time. Hope I can make it!
  • Hi all, quick question. Do you all find it much harder to stay within your calories when Aunt Flo is visiting? If so, any pointers on how to get through it? I'm having a heck of a time! All I seem to wanna to is eat!
  • I know that it's impossible to get an accurate count since they don't provide nutrition info, but we went to Claim Jumper tonight and I got the BBQ Chicken Skewer meal. It has a BBQ chicken skewer with I'm estimating to be at most 6oz of chicken on it, and some bell peppers and onions, about a cup I think of basmati rice,…
