Thanks. I am still lost though because with my calories set at 1850 (not far from my recommended calorie intake per the Scooby calculator), I am still at -149 exercise calories despite 2 hours of dancing, a 25 minute dog walk and a 30 minute HIIT strength training class. What I see from other posts is that the strength…

Simply put: screw the haters. Who are they to judge? They aren't perfect either. You've made amazing progress so keep your chin up and ignore anyone who doesn't support you 100%! You can do it! By the way, I'm like 190 and I can't run a mile and a half so YOU ROCK!!!

So so so excited I found this thread... I weighed myself yesterday morning and just wanted to cry. I was up about 6 lbs from where I was at the start. I just started week 5 and I love the improvements I'm seeing in my strength and the confidence I now have when I walk into the weight room. Looking forward to completing…

Takes me about 35 minutes to complete, including a 5 minute treadmill warm-up. I'm still on Stage 1 and have heard to enjoy the shorter workouts while they last, so I am :)

It's kind of awkward when you first start logging and seems cumbersome but I log anywhere and everywhere at anytime. No one is even wondering what you're doing anyways and even if they were, who cares, you're doing this for yourself... right?

Bump. I just started weight training a few weeks ago and I'm curious of the same.

Congrats!

Nuts! Avocados!

I'm 5'6 and started off around 250. Currently at 180'ish and aiming for 150. You can do it!

More boyfriend bootgrabbing is not a bad thing! Thanks!

Bump! I'm just starting the lifting part tonight. Excited and nervous and would love to see some pics too!

I am so so so glad I found this post. I was about to make one saying the same exact thing. I too just purchased NROL for Women and have gotten to the lifting program part and I'm terrified. I've worked out with a trainer for the last few months so you'd think my confidence would be there to handle it but I am so terrified!

I feel like that too... With all my activity, it puts my TDEE at like 2900!

What she said. I've been on a few different ones with no gain/loss results. My doctor said BCP can't make you gain a ton of weight like you commonly hear people blaming BCP for. Appetite increase and water retention may cause you to gain a pound or two but it'll work itself out.

I just started to use the Nike Running app (free!) and I love it! It tracks everything: distance, pace, etc., and you can get achievements and share with your "friends" on the app. Pretty fun. You have three options though to place your device: handheld or on your right or left arm using an arm band. Get an armband, it's…

I used to feel lightheaded and nauseous back when I was eating about 1500 calories too. I started eating more. Up your calories 200-300 and see how you feel then! Listen to your body; it's telling you to feed it. Good luck!

That's definitely too low. You should be netting at least your BMR! Use this tool to help find what your BMR is if you don't know already: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

I agree with a lot of of stuff already posted but I also find myself moving a lot to LMFAO!

Like a lot of others have said, lower your cardio some and don't eat such a deficit. If you are very close to goal, you should be eating about TDEE -10%. Here's a calculator to give you an idea of what that number would be. http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

SO CUTE!!!! Congrats on the new workout buddy!!!! I love the name Diesel!

::happy dancin' all the way to the fishing hole:: congrats!

I do one every Friday at my gym. I log it as circuit training, you should be able to pull it up in the database. You can also create your own workout as well :)

Inspiring! Congrats!

I've lost 74 lbs and only gone down 2-3 pant sizes. Baffling! It is what it is, smaller is smaller :)
-
This helps too... Find what your BMR is and eat at least that... plus your exercise cals back. OR eat at TDEE -15% and don't eat your exercise cals back. Re-do the calculations every 5lbs lost. http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

I love it diced up on top of a salad, in guacamole (mmmmmmmm!!!) and lately I've been mashing up a whole avocado, adding some salt and pepper and spreading half of it across some whole wheat toast. I save the rest for a snack or breakfast the next morning! I hope you find something that works for ya, I love avocado!!!

This... and if they are truly your friends, they will totally understand! Cheers to having a HAPPY and healthy life :drinker:
