I work nights dispatching tow trucks and days at Starbucks so I am literally working the entire weekend (oh, and it is the first sunny weekend of the year here to make it even better). Yep, you're jealous.

I work dispatch for the towing company from home 5pm to 8am (15 hours) 3 nights one week and 4 nights the next (alternating). I also work days at Starbucks. I can sleep between calls but it is very interrupted (have to wake up the computer program every 2 hours or it times out). I find the middle of the night wakeups are…

I get calls at anytime during the night so I can sleep but when I get woken up I just want sugar to give me a quick wakeup. Also, working days at Starbucks, I readily…

I am a Canadian, so I run in the cold (I even run in snow and ice, with cleats over my shoes). I have found that I really don't have to wear a lot even when it is below 0 celsius. I wear a long sleeved running shirt as a base layer (KEY: must be a technical material that will absorb your sweat like coolmax!! Cotton will…

Of course it's hard, if it wasn't hard everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it great. - A League of Their Own (I have pulled out that quote many times during my marathons)

I posted a reply on your other post. I work at Starbucks (have for 9 years).

I work at Starbucks. The light frappuccino is made with nonfat (skim) milk and a base (that thickens and holds it together so it doesn't separate) made with splenda, whereas the regular frappuccino is made with whole (homogenized) milk and a base made with sugar, thus more fat and sugar= more calories.
