Hugely agreed. Loved Born to Run. Also Run Less Run Faster by Runners world (forget the Author) and the Running book put out by The Running Room by John Stanton is like a runner's Bible.

Jasmine green tea, yummy :)

Dunno, all I know is you are part of the Human race :) interested to know your origin though.

Awesome. Will have to keep my eye open for it. I have the first 2 and the broadway one. Love them :)

I would recommend getting them anyways. You will love the winter running. Mine have paid themselves off numerous times over (Sigh, running in the snow listening to christmas carols).

I use rubber thingies that have cleats in them that you pull over your shoes. Love them. There is nothing better that going for a nighttime run in the fresh falling snow and making the first tracks. I am excited for winter :)

I love my cheapo rice cooker. I use it for rice, oatmeal, beans and lentils and steaming veggies. Seriously multi-functional and I think it was about $30.
-
Thank you!! Gonna give this a try :)
-
THANK YOU!!!

I just made a crockpot of split pea (no ham) soup. Yummy, I love autumn :)

I got a wrist cuff that is like a pocket at Lululemon that you could probably fit everything into.

Welcome to the family. We've got your back :)

I would say continue with your plan of lifting first. It will give an awesome base of muscle for spring when you choose to start working on the fat loss. You will be burning more calories because you will have more muscle. Setting yourself up for success, my friend.

I have my ex-bf to thank for where I am at today. I decided to get back into running to deal with the heartbreak and in less than 2 years I have completed my first 3 half marathons and my first marathon and am running my next marathon in 48 days. So THANK YOU to my ex-bf. It has made me so much hotter for when mr right…

Hi, BC here :)
-
You should not dip below 1200 net calories. So you should eat back your exercise calories. You need to fuel your body (I am a marathon runner and my net calories is set way higher than 1200 and I am still losing).

I am a Marathon runner and you have me tearing up girl. Finishing that 5K was your Marathon and I am so PROUD of you. Stories like yours remind me why I run. You are seriously INSPIRATIONAL. Friend me if you like, I would love to have you on my team :D

Elephino?!?!

What do you get when you cross a rhinoceros with an elephant?
-
I bought a bunch of it when I was in the States. I am all out though :(

Are you eating enough healthy fats? When I started running I had knee pain and within 2 days of adding healthy oils into my diet the pain went away. May not be the issue with your knees but it can't hurt to try and you need healthy fats for your body to function properly anyways.

I am not sure how it fits into low carb (I could never do that) But I recently heard (on one of the posts) about putting a packet of ranch dressing (the powder) into a tub of fat free greek yogurt. I use it as a dip for my cut up veggies. Yummy, high protein and calcium and low calorie.

I use the Runners World Smart Coach iPhone app. There is a free version.

I am running the Marathon. I did Seattle RnR in June. It was AWESOME!! So stoked for Vegas.

Lululemon is the absolute best. My favorite is the Tata Tamer.

This would be my first BUMP :)
-
It's so true, there are certain foods that I just cannot stop once I start.
-
I am a marathon runner and I wear only Lululemon sports bras. Occasionally you can find them on sale half price for $30. I stock up. They are worth every penny. My favorite style is Tata tamer.
-
Awesome. Just acknowledging that to yourself is a sure sign that you are on the road to success.

I am seriously in like with you right now. I have been searching for uses for the cans of pumpkin I have bought. Yummo :)
