  • I live in Florida and haven't worn shorts in ages. That's what has been depressing for me. I would not go to a play date with my daughter because a swimming pool was involved. I do not swim in public. That's why I am here to change all of this and be one of the "girls" on the beach (if we'll make it to the beach, that…
  • $0 Forever Workout room with treadmill in spare bedroom Plus $0 as offered Pilates class offered for free through our county. They also offer tons of other classes but I don't have enough time to participate.
  • How cool is that! Thanks for posting!
  • Wow! that is very low. I am at around 50 a day on fiber. You can look in my diary to see what I eat. Lots of veggies, grain, and legumes :)
  • I picked a weight that I think should be my goal weight by adding 10 lbs to what I looked 14 years ago. I may stop before I get there or go further depending on how I look. My body has changed since then, so I am not sure if it is going to be the perfect weight for me. I'll reevaluate by how I feel and look :)
  • Not everyone does! People used to think my boyfriend was my brother. We've got that more than a handful of times. Got rather annoying!
  • Wow. Fantastic loss! Great job. BTW, I love the long hair :)
  • *raises hand* Gainesville area :) I don't eat out much but for my birthday I want to go to a nice vegan friendly restaurant and heard from a co-worker that there are some in Gainesville. "The Top" off Main Street is the only one I recall at the moment but if the need is there, I can always ask her again :)
  • Before I had my treadmill, I would go out really early in the morning, with my reflective vest, flash light and pepper spray. It was nice running in the dark but the humidity is still pretty bad. I always joked that I would grow gills by the time the summer humidity was over. Now I am just using the treadmill which also…
  • Strawberry Sorbet. YUM!!! edited to add: It's part of my snacks during the day. Not every day but I buy a container every other week or so. Thankfully I don't have a sweet craving anymore :)
  • No, not really, though I do feel that size at times but not nearly as graceful ;) I don't post personal pictures on the web but may do a progress headless picture when I am getting closer to my GW :)
  • If he loves you that much it should be easy to tell him all this and go from there. If you tell him that you are wanting to change your lifestyle and what help he can give you, I am sure he'll support you but you need to figure that out first. Once you know what you want, it should be easy
  • That sounds perfectly fine. Also remember that you may lose a lot more at once when you start out. Plus there may the times when the scale doesn't move and then you suddenly drop several pounds at once.
  • I get up at 5.30 am do my 40-50 min workout. By the time I am done with my shower, my kid gets up, get her ready and I take her to preschool. Heading to work right after, work 8-9 hrs (no lunch since I show up late), leave at 6 pm, go home and either cook something quick or defrost what I have cooked ahead (do that a LOT),…
  • I get up early, walk for 40-50 min then have breakfast and get ready for work. Weekends are nicer because I don't get up as early, have breakfast, walk an hour, snack, do some weights or Pilates and that's it.
  • I am at 1200 net calories. My diary is public, though, if you want to take a look :)
  • It's the best time of the year to visit. Like everyone said, summer clothes all the way. Bring some sweaters if the nights are cold (but they may not be) and for the cold air conditioned restaurants. Hope you have a fantastic vacation!!!
  • Wow! You are looking great! Way to go on the weight loss! Keep it going!
  • I am not sure but it is possible. I don't think I could handle eating 3 cups worth of any food - haha - not to mention what 3 cups of beans would do to my digestive system
  • I usually go for a 5 lb goal but since I am hoping to break out of the 160s I would say 6 lbs is my goal this time around and everything beyond would be a bonus :) My motivation is partially driven by the fact that'll be going back to Germany at the end of May to visit my family and I would love to look at family pictures…
  • It is all about planing!!!
  • Congratulations on your success! This is a fantastic result and you are looking great! I am eating the same way, no added oils, healthy vegan! It has been great so far!
  • Can't wait to ... ... get rid of the double belly and overhang ... jump up and down without noticing my weight bounce all over me ... be able to run again or at least run/walk
  • Old my eye! Welcome to MFP! I hope you'll like it here. I've been using it for 2 months now and really like it. Feel free to friend me :) Good luck!
  • I am usually triple of what MFP suggests and get my fiber all naturally mostly from legumes and grains. There isn't a too much (natural) fiber issue. Only not enough causes problems.
  • Thanks! Yeah, hardly any processed food ...
  • That's me. I started at 182 and hope to get to 135. Thankfully, I am now at 165 but hope to break the barrier to the 150s by the end of March :)
  • I'd say I have an "A" since I do eat healthy most of the time and cook from scratch. Not sure what "clean" eating means but I took it as healthy :) I definitely haven't eaten anything dirty
  • Yep, same thing here. I have about 15 of my daughter's socks that are missing! My husband does the same thing. I need to find some pink ones that he may not like :) Oh, and my keys of course! They are never where they should be! Clothes is constantly missing, too.
  • I am planning to stay on it for a little while to see how the calories work out to maintain the weight and once I get a good feeling for what I can and cannot eat, I may stop. That's the plan anyway, who knows what's going to happen or if I even make it to my goal. Hopefully I will, though!
