Brilliant, thank you everyone! Feel a bit of an idiot calling them stretch bands...I really am clueless! Definitely need some upper body/back work outs to tone up...got a wedding dress to fit in to in April!! Will post before/after pics!

Totally agree, that's why I say eat what you're happy with.

No harsh comments, you just need to re-set your goals. Start thinking of your current weight as your starting weight, lose 1lb a week and you could be at your final goal by March 21st!!! Just in time for Spring!!!

I'm very similar to you, I'm 5ft7 and have a 9 to 5 desk job. The big loss at the beginning was probably water weight and is definitely not a sustainable weekly target loss!! 1lb a week is a great target and you are most likely to keep the weight off if you go slow & steady. To lose more than that a week you would need to…

The worst thing that someone did was when my family dog died, that had been in the family my entire life...my boyfriend at the time bought me one of those stupid toy robot dogs to "make me feel better"...it did the opposite.

All exercise is brilliant and swimming is a great one because the water supports your body and you're less likely to strain yourself, meaning you can go more often because you don't feel too achey the following day! Rather than going for an hour, try to set yourself a distance target, say 20 lengths, and see how fast you…

I need some low cal snacks from the UK too! I've got 12 weeks to lose 10lbs....it's do-able but I'm worried about Christmas!!
-
Thank you for the replies, I should say I cover around 4 miles a day in the two walks, it might actually a bit more than that. I'm definitely walking at a pace. I'll try 25lbs and see how I go!

The only thing you need to lose is the boyfriend!! What a jerk to tell you that you need to lose weight!!! I'm 5ft7 and my goal weight is 140lbs!! The first pic you look happy & healthy, the middle pic is far too thin and even the last pic still looks very slim to me. Be happy in your own skin hun x

A few years ago I lost 3st (42lbs) and a friend of mine was going through her waredrobe and didn't want an old pair of jeans so gave them to me. I never thought they'd fit me because my friend has always been slim and I could never be the same size as her.... I tried them on when I got home...and they fit! I screamed at…

My wedding is April 12th 2013!! Lost 5lbs so far, need to shift another stone before my dress fitting in March, which is an average of 1lb a week....with Christmas in the middle..eeeeekk!!!

My wedding dress, I can't post pics on here but it's Pronovias Bianca and I want to lose my jelly belly and flabby arms before my fitting in March!

I work in trade sales for a British chocolate company...yes, a chocolate company....weight loss is not easy!

WOW!! Look at how much better your posture is!! In the first pictures you look unbelievably tired and hunched over but that last pic you're standing tall, you're legs are tiny and you're starting to get a proper shape. KEEP IT UP! You're doing fantastically well and you must feel amazing!

casserole dish (mmm..tomato based stews!) knife sharpener!

25 is my goal...I'd be chuffed to bits if I looked like that!! I'd never get below that because I don't work out (I go running or I walk the dog) I don't need to be a muscle woman, just have a flat tum that doesn't jiggle when I walk!!!

Oh good, I think I'm on the right track then! I don't think I have much in the way of trans fats because I don't eat many processed foods, I cook from scratch and don't keep naughty things in the house (although we do currently have snack sized malteser bags in the fridge and snack a jack crisps in the cupboard...but…

Oh good!! I guess as long as it's lean protein and I'm not going over on fats then I should be okay? My weekend really was awful.....KFC is delicious and horrendous in equal measures!!

I would ask your hairdresser to cut your hair to a chin length bob first. If that feels a bit scary then stop, get use to the shorter hair and then go for the pixie cut next time. Going from long hair to such a short crop will be quite a shock.

Hello! When are you getting married? My big day is April 12th next year and I'm on MFP to lose atleast 14lbs before my first dress fitting in early March. 5lbs down already so I feel like I can do it!! Add me if you want a fellow Bride to Be for moral support! Word of warning though, I will message you if you stop logging…

Chocolate...and I work for a chocolate company!!!

I'm not a cutter but if you want to stop then you need to know the reason behind why you started. What is the cause of the pain you're trying to release? You may be best speaking to a doctor, who can refer you to a councillor who can talk you through everything. Don't be put off by "officials" x

If your fear of being noticed and gaining unwanted attention from men is making you want to stop losing weight and being healthy then I would recommend speaking to a professional about it. You can't let your past control your future. x

I tend to find my weight sticks if I get stuck in a rut and eat the same foods on a daily basis. Try mixing it up and adding in plenty of fresh fruit. I don't know how to view your diaries so I can't see what you're eating but I hope this helps. Also, try having a look at how many calories you'd need to take in to maintain…

I freaking love these pics!! Especially on the first page about the 1lb of fat in a person's hand! Made me soooo happy about my 2lb weight loss!! :o)
