  • Hey, well I am 2 half-marathons in for this year so far....2 weeks apart and I ran better on the second run, so training is important but rest is too. The week before my last marathon I only walked, and ate pizza the night before. I ran it in 01:56 which is great for my age. I would recommend the training regime, but don't…
  • I think it depends whether you want an HRM or a pedometer/calorie counter. I completed my 10000 steps a day, and beyond, and also did Insanity everyday. It counted an Insanity workout as only burning 350 cals in a 45 mins session. I'm 120 and have 19% BF so I guess it does not help if you're lean. I was happier using it…
  • Well, I am running a half marathon on Saturday too....I can add that which is 2 and a half hours down..
  • I'm in:) let me know how to go about it?
  • Good quote :) At the end of the day, whether people are positive or negative, the state of your health boils down to you as an individual. Yes, outside sources affect our health, but they don't determine them completely. I liked how you stated that it doesn't really matter.
  • Congrats on making the move to be a healthier version of you! I want you to know that at your height and weight, it will be a challenging road, but totally doable! I was 130 and I'm 5'5. Now I'm plateauing at 120. I'm toned, but I can't get past 120 for now because I am 32E, 25, 36.... So I would suggest for belly fat,…
  • Well, as an Aussie, I would have to say age and genetics have a lot to do with your build. What we put in our bodies has a huge impact, but don't forget, how we process that input has a lot to do with where that food eventually goes. Either used as energy or waiting and piling it on the body. I was brought up on a cattle…
  • I have the one that also tracks sleep. Very accurate! It measured my distance during the day. I was not accounting the 4-6 miles I walked a day in work alone! Very step sensitive so you won't get cheated.
  • It's been over a year. How did you like my neck of the woods?
  • Well, the most expensive thing I have ever bought is a $2800 python clutch from Gucci....My kid is 17, in his first year of college, so for bringing up a genius, I rewarded myself!! I can't have more kids so I think I deserve it.
  • Carrie, I do feel for you, but with perseverance and reverence, you can do this. Only you have to believe you can! I think it's great that you're at least acknowledging your issues. I am fit and slim, but a recovering anorexic and bulimic so I am not without my "head" demons but I got through it. Most of my friends think…
