I agree with @sarahbetherck If you entered current weight and set the goal for weight loss, the calories MFP calculates should lead to steady weight loss. I've seen this so far, though I've only been entering food for a few weeks. Increasing your daily activity (more walking, etc.) can increase that loss, of course. To add…

How inspiring! I love your painting. I take my camera with me on walks and hikes, too. I tend to get bored with working out, and I've found that combining walking with watching for birds, flowers, squirrels etc., keeps me motivated.

I like ground turkey when I want something lighter than beef. White bean turkey chili is one of my favorite things to make with ground turkey.
