I think the internet is seen as the new frontier. Some people monitor themselves far more loosely than they might in the real world. Some people are disenfranchised in the real world; feel they have no voice, nobody listening to them etc. Some people say what they think with no concept on how their words might be…

So if a Snickers bar falls in the forest and you eat it and there's nobody to see that Snickers bar topple, does it make a sound as you log it/don't log it?

If I were you I'd avoid self-instructing videos and apps like the plague to begin with. To get full benefit you need to be with an instructor - someone who can adjust your position and posture. Someone who can remind you to breathe (believe me, you'll forget). Depending on your body, you might have to adjust some…

Welcome back. Hope that the site gives you everything you're hoping for.

Gave up my place in the queue to a woman at the supermarket. Hardly Mother Theresa level, but it still felt good.

42 years old. In Australia, trying to go for lunchtime runs without suffering heatstroke. What's this 'snow' thing people are talking about?

My exercise for today will be a 30 minute brisk walk. This is a day of 'rest' after a run earlier this week, with another run planned later this week. Just keeping on the boil.....

Wraps..... just the thin flat bread bit rather than the finished filled item. How can something so flat count for so much?!

............. anything! Add some cumin for that exotic taste. Hot, cold, couscous is awesome!

Your eating sounds very much like mine used to be. There were days where I'd live on coffee until dinner, with the odd bag of chips thrown in as and when. People say that there's benefit in eating small, regular amounts. Maybe that would be easier to manage if time/life/desire don't allow you to sit down for a big…

I'd speak up. Phrase it in a caring manner as people have suggested and then if they take any offence, it says more about them than it does you - and certainly bears no comment on the validity of your well-intended action.

Diets on paper are all about routine, rigidity, inflexibility. It takes insight and perspective to tell yourself that it's not armageddon if, one rare day, your numbers don't quite match a set of numbers they're meant to. Fact is that you dealt with this obstacle in a really good way. I think you can find many, many…

There are people out there who will explain this a lot more thoroughly than me. However as I understand it, your calorie goal - if hit - will get you to your weight loss goal in X weeks/months etc. If you get a calorie deduction through exercise, you can either save it for extra weight loss or eat some/all of it. As long…

My class is generally respectful. The phone-ringing thing rarely happens but on occasion there's a changeover of groups taking place at the back of the room at the same time as those at the front are at savasana. That can be a little noisy but it rarely goes on for too long.

I came late to fatherhood. I don't have heaps of weight to lose - for me it's more about fighting that gradual ageing process and also being able to be the best, most interactive and hands-on father I can possibly be. Of course the associated feelgood factor is a bonus, too....

I'm a guy and I work in kg. Talk about screwed on numerous levels.....

I started yoga for the exact same reason as you - running injuries. In the day before my twins were born I would practice three-four times a week, including one class. I had a big break when my twins arrived - life overtook me and out of all the things I was looking forward to welcoming back, yoga came before sleep, a…

My wife had bleeding throughout her pregnancy and it certainly puts things into perspective, as does having children in general. Congratulations on your new baby and very best wishes on achieving your goals.

Save it up. Do the same tomorrow as well and you'll have double the number of options to pick from!

I hear alright things about turkey, too......

I'm actually trying to take a step away from technology (he says, totally contradicting himself by posting about it on a website) but I might just look at Yogaglo....

Congratulations.

I think that if you're feeling good about what you're achieving and you're seeing real positive results, you are more likely to look at the bad food your husband brings home and feel empowered to avoid it. The next time you tell yourself you won't eat it, the easier it will be the time after that.

I say we should all just love one another. Not necessarily literally, though. Although it would burn calories....
