Awesome every one! I am loving the active conversations and YES today is FIT TEST and Measurement day! If you are a little ahead or a little behind that is fine. We are all here together for one reason, INSANITY. We are going to be a group on insane whack jobs...lol...in a good way.
-
Do NOT forget to take your measurements, weight, and most importantly Before pictures. I recommend doing a front pose, side pose, and back pose. This is the best way to actually see the physical results being made along the way. :D

well I am starting tomorrow as well. I did my fit test already. tomorrow I will do measurements and weight. hey I have some additional information for you I will request you can message you.
-
That is perfectly fine. Just click the link above to join in the group. :D

I just made a Group here on MFP. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/13870-insanity-fit-group So you guys let me know what you prefer. I believe in a group we can post photos and stuff like that. Not sure we can do it here. I added those who replied already, so if you did not get the invite just click the link above to…

I actually have done Insanity before. I did it Feb. 2012. It was the best program I did. I got the best results with it. I have done a few programs and they are great in different ways but Insanity was the one I seen best results with.

Awesome awesome! So we can use this page to check in with each other. Or i you are on Facebook I can msg you with the link to my FB Insanity group page. We will definitely make it much easier by supporting each other and working together! :D I am very excited! I did my fit test already and it was a Killer. My day 2 will be…

But what you are not taking into account is YOURSELF! These are personal experiences and no one is the same as everyone else. Fitness/Health is something to take into account too. If you were fit/healthy before pregnancy, continue to workout during pregnancy (under doctors advisement of chores), and workout after pregnancy…

It happens to all of us. We just work and work and work and then we feel burned out. Its not an issue to have a rest day or weekend. Its fine to even have a day where you eat things you normally would not (with in reason of chores). However you still have to workout and/or monitor your calorie intake. If not then the…

You want to lost inches more then weight which follows along a weight training regime. I would recommend ChaLEAN extreme from beachbody. It incorporates lifting as well as cardio. It is not terribly costly and you can do it in your own home so that when the kids are asleep or whenever you have the time you can pop it in…

Pick yourself up and start over. I mean we all do it and as we keep pushing forward we get better at it. The next time it might be a candy bar instead of McDonalds (not great but getting better), then it might be something a little better the next time. HOWEVER, I would suggest to try and channel that energy to exercise.…

Very excellent input! I would add that maybe you need to work on the INSIDE now. You need to start utilizing self help books/audio cd's to improve yourself on the inside. I was very depressed and angry at the world. I had a very hard life (back then I did not think so though, I just felt with it). We need to look inside…

Thanks! It took me a LONG time to get used to not caring what the scale said and to pay more mind to inches and how I felt. I am finally there. Challenge groups are cool if the people stay connected....I mean I was in one and very one just petered out and eventually I was the only one posting. Good thing for me I have MANY…

Hummmm....maybe it is getting used to all those pushups and is sore from last week. I am not too sure either on that one. Do you have the push up stands? If so use those and see if that helps. I use them due to wrist weakness. However, it may just help with elbow too. Good for you on week 1. That is a really tough week to…

OMG, that is awesome! Nice work. I lost 13lbs, 8.5" and I forget the fat%. But I have to admit, I think I wasn't in good enough shape to do Insanity. Although my results were great for me, I feel they could have been better if I was more able to keep up with the program. But I did my best and just kept moving. I am in…

pgp90xer: You know your wife might want to check out Turbo Jam. It is also by the same instructor (Chalene Johnson) and available thru beachbody for I think$60.00. It is also upbeat and FUN like Turbo Fire however it is more of a beginners workout program so it is a lot less impact and more manageable. Just thought I would…

I wished I would have done the fit tests now. However I know myself and doing those honestly puts a damper on myself. I am not sure why but I do better when I don't do the fit tests of a workout. Sounds so silly to me....lol. Those are good numbers. How have your results been thus far?
-
How are you guys doing? Insanity results? I so wish MFP had notifications as I would have so been here to REV up with my Insanity posts. I did Insanity but I am finished now. You are not in your last 30days right? Have you done your fit test and measurements from day 1 to day 30?
-
The first week is always finding out what you are capable of doing. P90X is a wonderful program and sticking with it you will get amazing results. Keep tracking your calories and pushing yourself harder everything and you will not believe the way you will look when you are finished. Simply amazing! I did P90X last March…

Sounds like you are doing good with your healthy eating style. The only thing I would recommend is eat clean, raw, and whole grains. Also set an alarm on your phone every 2-3hrs so that it will remind you its time to eat something....whether its a meal or a snack. Also pre packing for preparing foods ahead of time will…

So far I think you are the only guy...but no worries mate its always nice to be surrounded by women. P90X is a knock out workout. I did it for 60 days and I loved it but I allowed life to get in the way and I quit. I am trying hard to not do that this time around. Post away....I did not know that MFP does not send…

hahaha....I love how MFP does NOT notify you of group posts. I am so GLAD you found me on Facebook! You are doing so great and I love your energy. Thanks for posting and for coming to the FB side. :)

CLX is an excellent workout. A hybrid is even better! I love the lifting and HIIT cardio together. Knowing how to make it all work for you and your schedule is key. WTG!

Hi guys! I am so sorry for not keeping up on this group. I honestly thought that when someone posted I would be notified by MFP....I guess I was wrong on that one. Opps.... I finished Insanity March 30th and lost 13lbs and 8.5". I also went from a size 14 to a size 10. I am oober excited to say that! I now have decided to…

Sorry I kinda left this group. I assumed that I would get notified when someone posted here like you do when someone comments on your posts. However, I was not noticed. For CALORIE tracking you can use a Heart Rate Monitor (HRM), you also have the option of using a Fitbit or Bodybugg. Those are 2 devices that you wear on…

I have the TurboFire Fire Starter set. I LOVE it. Nice low impact for my knees but still a high intensity workout. The music is wonderfully upbeat like Chalene always gives us. Ahhh....I am in love with this set. I made a 5min video of me doing the Fire Starter workout if you are interest in viewing it. Here is the link.…

I am in the middle of my 3rd week of Insanity. I really love it. it is tough but feels so good afterwards. I real need a support group as my insanity group dropped out on me. good luck

Thanks Step! I am going to get him eating more and see how that goes. Thanks for your reply. I will have to look at all it has with it. There were a few things missing and I called to inform them. They sent out the missing items but when I got them today it was not the items that were missing. SO I have to re-call them…
-
Thanks everyone. I am glad to have read your responses. I will definitely utilize the information that each of you have given to me/us. It does sound weird to eat more to lose but now that I have ready that it does make sense. If you eat to little it only makes sense your body would go into starvation mode just like if you…

Its been a real roller coaster for me too since 2009. I am good for a few months then go back to being non-active. I would love nothing more then to keep moving all year long without those 2-4month long hiccups. I am have done all kinds of programs but with out 100% completion. I usually go 60-70days then stop for…
