Same boat. I just lost today though...down .8 lbs. Before that I was up 2 lbs. Eating at maintenance is so tricky. And I still feel a little fatter, even down the .8. my jeans seem just a bit tighter in the waist.

Dude. This. When I upped my calories from 1200 to 1600, I was magically not grouchy any more.

Just try to think of it as a backhanded compliment like another poster said. It will level off once they get used to the new you. In my own work place and experience I've been through it all. They all noticed and encouraged me when I first started looking slimmer. Then I got the "don't get skinnier" comments or "you…

Congrats! I also think collarbones are sexy. :D

FETA. Salad is so much better with feta cheese on it. I keep it simple with, spring mix/spinach, feta, roma tomato, shallots, and some vinaigrette dressing.

Free weights. At my gym at least, if you have a *specific* question or two a trainer would be more than happy to help. Ditto the suggestions of looking up videos or books...though really I'd still be concerned that your form wouldn't be good and you'd get hurt.

Pre-logging helps *most* of the time. Sometimes my day throws me a curve ball and I end up eating something different. I sometimes have to remind myself that I can have whatever I'm craving another day or reminding myself that a small portion is okay because I can have more another time. I don't have to EAT ALL THE FOOD.…

That is great! That is still my favorite accomplishment so far! That felt better than reaching goal.
-
Same. I love running on the tread though and get a good calorie burn that way.
-
Yep. All of this.
-
It takes a HARD workout for me to get over 500 cals burned. I usually get 300-400 burned with an hour of Zumba , hour of spinning, or 30 minutes running. I don't have a HRM though, so maybe I'm underestimating? It depends on your body though. Height and weight.

I have larger hips and find that without getting any specialty stuff, really low rise pants seem to work better. So, I'm kind of getting them to fit my hips. Other than that, getting things to fit your hips and then getting them altered at the waist like the previous poster said.

Please. As little as the women in those photos are squatting? I could totally do that in heels. For the record, yes, squatting in heels is stupid.

The fattiest dinner ever! Homemade mac and cheese (pioneer woman recipe) and homemade chocolate pudding to follow! Bf requested this dinner. :D

The gummies are way better. Sometimes I can handle a normal mulit and sometimes I just know my stomach can't handle it. Then I eat my kid's gummy vitamins.

KING CAKE! I wants it!

Pizza. Fish n chips! Mexican.

No, because he knows how interested I am in my workouts right now. I'd love it. If I had no interest in exercise, I'd be pissed.

I was one of the "chubbies" at my gym when I first started. I felt a little awkward but there were other overweight people as well and I saw being one of the overweight folks as motivation to work our harder and more often. Now, I am no longer one of the out of shape/chubbies.
-
The loose skin, for sure. I wasn't *that* overweight and I'm still relatively young (25). Here's hoping that my skin will regain a little elasticity since I did lose quickly. Oh, and I work out tons. People do look at me differently. I'm finally in the normal range for my weight and I feel like people aren't seeing the…

Annnd there's a Lane Bryant ad at the bottom of the page now. lol. Congrats, OP. That is awesome!
-
That is a great NSV! Congrats on the improved fitness!
-
Yep, this. I am still HUNGRY after I eat them. So, that means I rack up way to many cals.
-
lols. This is me. But I also have my cals set at 1800. If they were at 1200, I would probably log it because I would be desperate to eat back some cals (I've had it set to 1200 before).
-
Ditto the poster who said you may need extra fem products, but that's about it. Do what you want to in the gym, it'll be fine.
-
I would learn how many additional calories you need. In early pregnancy, it's none. Later I think it's 200? Find that out and then count calories. Also DO NOT STOP EXERCISING. Do running and aerobics until you get uncomfortable doing them. Let you body tell you when to stop.
-
My boyfriend, hopefully. ;) Other than that, I'm excited about skipping the gym and getting extra time with my kiddo this evening.
-
I'll just ignore all of primary and high school and skip to adulthood. Mostly comments from BFs telling me that I needed to lose weight or that I shouldn't/couldn't wear some style of clothing because I was too fat for it.
-
Biceps and quads. My quads always "bulk up" fast, even if I'm just running. I LOVE that I have real muscle in my arms now. I had never had that before. :D Now, calves are toning up and my stomach is getting flatter (no visible abs though).
-
This exactly. I still get it when I push too hard during work outs. I just back off a little and keep going.
