Lift heavy.....period

Yeah that makes sense! My advice would be check out powerlifters on youtube, Alan is my favorite. Scott Herman also has a great deadlifting video too. The key is your setup & making sure your taking a deep breath into your belly to stabilize yourself before you perform the lift - think of making your middle round all the…

I'm having the same issue but I'm not ready to have it sized yet. I'm thinking a ring guard will do the trick. Congrats on your NSV!

Hi Maggie. Friend me if you want. I have a ways to go too. We can support each other. Thanks and good luck on your journey. :)

Congratulations! You look gorgeous! I also understand binge and compulsive eating as I struggle with it myself. Keep going, you're doing great and I look forward to seeing your completed goal pictures. :)

Mine are caused my MSGs, which are in most processed food. I have to be careful and read the labels because they hide them under different names. When I don't have them, I don't have migraines.

I love your hourglass figure! Great job! :)

I do. I started with just the bar and progressed as design with the exception of overhead presses and bench press. I use fractional weights to progress on these, increasing by 2.5 lbs vs 5 lbs. This morning I deadlifted 140 lbs, pressed 50 lbs and squatted 110 lbs. I'm almost 56 yrs old.

Love it! I still have an elliptical...lol and a power rack and a stand full of weight plates in my living room. I love lifting, just wish I hadn't waited so late to start. I have a Marcy with the bench.....best money I ever spent!

I had a gym membership for two years then I bought a power rack, an oly bar, weight plates and an elliptical. I would never go back to a gym. I love working out at home. No one else's sweaty body on my equipment, no one staring at me like I don't belong, no more fees, no more drives to get to the gym. I can work out naked…

I don't have a medical condition, and I don't feel differently when I eat conventionally grown produce and meat vs. organic (and I do eat some of both, mainly organic berries that end up on sale, but some beef as well). I do feel better when I eat a diet that contains many servings of raw and cooked vegetables and fruit…

I have health issues that force me to eat organic. Yes, it is expensive but I've seen major improvements in my health and I won't put a price on that. I can only speak about my choices, my health and my improvements.

I have fractional plates but the smallest I've been able to find is 1.25. I wear a back brace during all my lifts as I don't have the strongest back/abs. Will pay attention to make sure I'm squeezing the ol' buttocks and such. :p I checked out Mark Rippetoe tonight....(Thanks for the tip) Thinking maybe I should cut back…
