I used to cosplay a ton, but fell out of the hobby due to money concerns and then weight concerns. But I recently went to my first con since 2009 and I've been inspired to get back into cosplaying again. I'm still too self-conscious about my weight, but I'm hoping a specific goal will get me back on track again. Plus, I…

Hello everyone! 26 from Rhode Island with 80lbs to lose.
-
Wow, you look amazing!

26 and trying to get back on track again.

I've been in since the first beta. Alas, had to miss 3 weekends in a row of phase 1 due to my computer nearly blowing up on me and taking too long to get that repaired. x.x Looking forward to this weekend though to get back in.

I've never played a Bioshock game before, but I really liked the look of Infinite and picked it up. I was hesitant, cause fps tends to make me feel motion sick. Alas, it's the same in this case too. Can't play it for more than half an hour before I start feeling nauseous. :( I've made about an hour and a half of progress…

I recently pulled my DDR mat out of storage and use it to add to my exercise. I have tons of fun with it, so I figure it'll be easier to stick with in the long-run. :) I've got one of the foam pads and I do like it a lot. I could never go back to the thin ones that sometimes come packaged with the game. Back in high…

Wow, what a great post and such an inspiration.

Haha, that sounds kind of entertaining. I'd join up!

I'm also a geeky girl and trying to get back active around here! Sent you a friend request!

I also used to play FFXI, but then quit because I just didn't have time for it anymore. Though that was the old FFXI. With the latest changes to the game, I hear it's super fast getting to level cap and I just don't have much interest in it now. I know they are planning on making FFXIV more casual-friendly, so I doubt…

Also signed up for beta. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do with it.

Dagger from FFIX. I cosplayed her main outfit back when I was smaller and I'd love to be comfortable enough to wear it again. :)

I've been playing since beta and love the game. Though I'm more of a casual player, so I haven't reached the last zones yet. I play on the Arcadia dimension and my main is Teruko "Taaryn" Mitsuya if anyone wants a buddy for missions.

I take measurements, but not pictures. Mostly because I live alone so there's nobody to take pictures of me. XD

I'm a level 8, multi-classing Ranger and Mage. =P

Wow, you look amazing! I hope I can get half the results you did! :)

I'm from RI as well. Originally from Cranston and I'm living in Cumberland now.

Hello! I'm 5'4" and currently about 212lbs. My goal weight is 150bs. Feel free to friend me! :)
-
Wow, you look fantastic!

I just joined as Gossamer.

Hello! Just joined myself. Lived in RI all my life (exception being attending college in Vermont for four years). Grew up in Cranston and I'm living in Cumberland now. Nice to meet others in the state. :)

Hello! I'm 25 and from RI. Welcome to MFP! I've been here for almost a year myself, fell off the wagon a bit. But while I was on the wagon it worked wonders! I'll add you. :)

Wow, you look amazing! Such an inspiration. :)

I started this morning, so I'll jump on as well. :)

Hi Jenn! And my name is Jenn too. :) I'm not quite at 100 to lose, but definitely up there. But this site has been a great help. I've only lost 20 so far, but I don't think I ever could have managed that before I found MFP. I'll send you a friend request.
-
I'll send you a friend request. :) I had that same reaction too, looking at photos of myself and being horrified of how I'd let myself go. But I've lost 20lbs since joining MFP and it's been a great inspiration.

Going to Portugal for vacation and feeling more than ever like a "fat American". I had an emotional breakdown out in front of one of our hotels. >.>

My favorite is Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012. I have the original one too, but 2012 improved on it in so many ways. I really like the variety and the control. I've also been having a blast with the African Dance class. I've heard a lot of good things about the Biggest Loser game. I'm toying with picking that one up once…

I also started this for the first time today. I have to say, level 1 was not as hard as I thought it would be from everything I've been reading about it. Well, overall at least. The pushups and crunches are still very difficult for me, and man, that lunge move with the weights was probably what killed me the most. XD But…
