I barely made my 30 miles in June so I am keeping the same goal for July. The humidity is to much for me right now so I am looking for shorter, more frequent, runs with either no or less walk breaks.

I only have "severe gastric repercussons" if I have the Sofritas, but they taste really good LOL. I get either a bowl with light brown rice, pinto beans, Steak or Sofritas, tomato salsa, light sour cream and lots of lettuce or a salad with Pinto beans, steak, tomato salsa, light sour cream and extra lettuce.

Thanks for all of the responses. I do Yoga once a week and strength training with a personal trainer ever other week then do the assigned workout 2 times a week isulo_kura. Currently we are doing alot of core stuff to help with my running form (I land heavy?). I will try to run by feel instead of by my watch and keep doing…

I just started running consistently and completed my first 5k. I finished in 42:18 so one of my short term goals is to complete a sub 30 5k. Next is to complete a sub 60 10k. Long term goal is to run the Marine Corps half in 2-3 years hopefully under 2 hours. I love to run but was diagnosed with RAD (reactive airway…

My goal was 25 miles in May and made it 26, I think I will aim for 30 miles in June. I know I have another 5k June 14th so that should keep me motivated.

I use the Vitality website as well. The most you can get is the 15 points per workout so I would leave my Fitbit on and use the Heart rate monitor. Make sure you are setting goals and do the preventative docots visits. I made Platinum member begining of this month and I have already gotten enough points to get $250 in…

7lenny7: Congrats what a great time! To take a minute off your training time and only miss your goal by less then 30 seconds is wonderful. Sorry there was confusion and disorganization or I am sure you would have made your goal.
