  • I've got four, plan to get a lot more in the future but I'm waiting until I've reached my goal weight or am close :) First, this one was for my dad who died of cancer "Dream Love Cure" on my right shoulder Second, my sister and I got matching foot tattoos "fearless" Third, biggest one on my right inner forearm. And fourth,…
  • Hard to say, I always have to step on mine at least twice, I think mines ww too, the first reading is always wrong but the second and any after are always my actual weight, a few pounds less than the first reading, and are more consistent. Dunno why it's like that. Try to check more than once if your scale is digital. I've…
  • I wear makeup a few times a week, and when I do it's minimal (eyeliner and mascara) and that's it. Occasionally eye shadow. I've never been all that big on makeup, when I was in high school I wore it daily but I got more comfortable with myself and find I don't really need it, it's just to accentuate my eyes when I do. I…
  • Well, I'm a lot more of a clean eater than how I ate before I started losing, but I'm by no means much of a clean eater now, still eat lots of 'junk' but it's in moderation. My diary is open, I'm losing no problem. Nothing wrong with clean eating but even though I feel a bit better if I do, I find my slip ups are worse and…
  • You look amazing! You should be super proud! :flowerforyou:
  • I'm 22 so pretty young anyways, but always get ID'd (drinking age is 19here) and when I worked with kids/teens they often thought I was younger, like 15-18 or so. I'm alright with having a young face though, nothing wrong with that :) wondering if when I lose weight if I'll look older or younger. It seems to really vary…
  • Already told you that you look great but hey I'll say it again, looking fantastic! The hard work has really payed off! :drinker:
  • Hey! I'm Palmer, and our goals are somewhat similar :) I'm 22, I started 276, currently at 250.2 :) So just over 25lbs lost. My goal is currently 160, but may go lower or stay there, I'll see when I get there. I'd say I'm a bit of a nerd, and love cats as well, and I try to be really supportive! I'm straight, but consider…
  • And this is why I love MFP.
  • Honestly, even though I found some parts sorta rushed I overall was happy with the ending. I can definitely see why some people were disappointed with it but in the end I was okay with it. I've always been a bigger fan of Ted and Robin over Barney and Robin (as much as I loved them) and I think had Barney and Robin not…
  • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7y6kXwMo_M I'll just leave this here...
  • I agree absolutely, as soon as I found out it was gall stones I agreed with my doctor for him to set up a consultation with a surgeon. I'm not sure how long it will be until I get in, but at least things are underway.
  • Well, I got my ultrasound results! I do indeed have gall stones, talked with the doctor and next step is a consultation with a surgeon. As much as that sucks I was really glad to get some kind of news. So anyone having similar symptoms to what I originally posted, definitely get checked out to be safe!
  • So rude, I mean it's one thing for people to make comments without realizing they're being mean, but to blatantly say things like that is very insensitive. I agree try to limit time around them, maybe have a talk with them, but honestly it isn't worth your time to have that kind of negativity in your life. Also I've always…
  • I'm 22, feel free to add :D
  • Not really any trigger foods, wouldn't have believed I didn't have any before I started eating well as I used to binge a lot. I find certain foods aren't necessarily triggers, but if I haven't slept enough I tend to crave the higher calories/lower nutrient foods a lot more, and the other trigger is if I I'm sitting beside…
  • My boyfriend bought pizza, I didn't feel like cooking so had some pizza. It was delicious. ^-^
  • Well, just wanted to add that I talked to him and it went over very well, it'll be something we'll just have to work through along the way, whether he decides to make any physical changes or not.
  • Thanks so much you guys, ill look into that book for sure! Yeah it really is a tough situation, I totally know what you mean about people who can love someone no matter what, I always thought of myself that way because logically it makes sense to me, but when it comes down to it I'm straight and I can't force myself to…
  • I have a journal where I keep track of stuff so similar idea I guess. I have sections for different things I keep track of, weight loss weekly monthly total, other improvements and goals like with working out but I don't keep track of that quite as much, an nsv section for non scale victories, a quotes section, short term…
  • ^ this! finally a diet that will work! In all seriousness I have ice cream or chocolate basically every day and am losing just fine. In!
  • I had a pretty bad weekend food-wise, and this weekend was the first time since I started this journey I felt like old me, stressed, lack of sleep and wanted to binge. I decided that today will be better and I don't want to feel like that again or risk getting pulled back to my old ways. I've felt pretty strong and…
  • I have to agree with the others advice, I took a pretty good look through your diary and noticed a few things. -occasional days with minimal to no logging, don't know if you missed them or hardly ate those days, or only half logged... -many days with sodium levels pretty high =water retention -I have to agree with the…
  • Here are some I took while I was in Ireland, it's gorgeous there. I got a new camera for my birthday (Sony Nex 5r) I love it! ETA resized a few times, here we go.
  • *Drool* Sounds tasty!
  • Back in your head-Tegan and Sara
  • No ultrasound yet, have it booked for Friday morning! Yeah I'm not big on the idea of surgery if that ends up being my issue, so I definitely get that, but sometimes it's worth it, and sometimes as has been said it could just be changing your diet. I'm already worried about the possibility of surgery but I'm reminding…
  • Bumping for later, I'm not a professional but have some pretty neat pictures I might add later :)
  • The one thing I always think is surely going as far north as possible would be best for me as I'm in Canada. No way the zombies would survive winter in some areas getting to -50 Celsius(maybe colder?) ...they'd freeze, lose limbs from the cold etc. Even if they could somehow come back to "life" after thawing, we could just…
  • Wow you look great! Definitely a good inspiration :)
