  • It must have been said before, but it needs repeating...FireFly and Almost Human. I rarely watch Fox, and on the few occasions that I do they decide to cancel the show before it even gets a chance. Lame.
  • Thin crust pizza with extra cheese, blue cheese, bacon, onions, peppers, chicken, pepperoni, spinach, and extra sauce with cheese sticks. I could more than likely still eat my weight in pizza...it is the one food I just can't get enough of.
  • Can't even BEGIN to tell you how proud of you I am. You've come a long way baby! Don't apologize for being as awesome as you are. You truly are one of my inspirations and I am so lucky to have found you. I know that at times you don't feel like a success, but YOU ARE!!!!
  • I hate Thanksgiving for various reasons, but the food part of it isn't a very big deal in the long run. It is ONE holiday, and it's really the only one that is centered around food. Just take a small sample of whatever you want. A spoonful of this and that, and have a small slice of two of your favorite desserts.
  • Beef Ribs 6 oz boneless beef ribs. (I use beef rib tips) 1 cup beef broth 4 Tablespoon your choice of bbq sauce 3 cloves garlic, finely minced. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Add all to crockpot on low for 7 hours. It helps with the rib cravings that I…
  • Hot sauce chicken. Got this one somewhere on this site, but it is so delicious that it bears repeating over and over and over again! 3 to 4 4oz boneless skinless chicken 1 cup hotsauce 1 pkt dry ranch dressing mix. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Add all to…
  • Chicken Fajitas. 4 4oz boneless, skinless chicken breast 1 sliced bell pepper 1\2 sliced red onion 2 cloves garlic, well chopped 1\2 pkt taco seasoning 2 cups water __________________________________________________________________________________________________ You can either roughly cut up the chicken or leave it in…
  • Rice with Beef Stew Meat 6 oz beef stew meat 2 cups beef broth 2 Tablespoon lemon juice 1\2 finely chopped red bell pepper 1\2 minced red onion (any kind would do, I just always have red onions on hand) 3 cloves roughly chopped garlic Whatever spices you want (I use salt, lemon pepper for my husband, paprika, basil, and…
  • When I was 7 or 8 I was sitting on the living room floor and my older sister was sprawled out on the couch. Since I was younger, we were watching what SHE wanted. I saw something out of the corner of my eye in the kitchen and turned my head to get a better look. It was my sister at the stove. She turned her head to me and…
  • Your body will get used to it, no worries. Give it a week and you will be feeling dehydrated it you DON'T drink enough water. Carbonated drinks will start to taste weird too. They will tickle your throat in a not so fun way.
  • Usually it isn't the OP. They are usually just expressing their opinion. The problem comes when people try to defend themselves, and when they run out of logical arguments, they turn to name calling. Instead of saying "I'm done, you are not understanding me" they run and tell mommy and daddy. And as for blaming the…
  • You can say what you want. AND I'm sure that the OP has made some very valid points. Fact of the matter is that you can find good and bad in ANY food on the planet. Even fruits and veggies people. EVERYTHING should be eaten in moderation. I'm not giving up milk, I have a glass of it right by me, or dairy. I'm 27 and I've…
  • Buy as needed. I've lost 123..and let me tell ya, you can go broke just keeping up with pants alone! Personally, I buy as little as possible, especially underwear and stuff like that. I wear it until it literally falls off of my body. The same with shirts. Pants are a different story of course. Just buy one or two at a…
  • I love mine! There are a few things that I would like to see changed (of course). If you drive, especially on bumpy or badly-maintained roads, it will log driving as walking. You can fix this by using the stopwatch function...but most of the time I forget. That and the app the droid has for it. It doesn't update on the…
  • Ok OP, here is what you do. Make the appointment. Take a friend that either believes you or that you trust. Every time I go to the doc for my BP I take my sister - in- law. I've known here since I was 13 and she was 12. Support at the actual office helps more than you think. If you DON'T want to solve this by meds right…
  • I started at 412 two years ago. Now I'm at 289. I'm half way to the goal that I want to be at!
  • You need to talk to her doctor about it. He\she will more than likely recommend you to a child nutritionist if there really is a problem. There is something you can do in the mean time if you are that worried. Stop buying junk food and stop ordering fast food. She's 10, which means that for the most part YOU are in control…
  • I haven't read through all 5 pages, so if most of this is a repeat, I'm sorry. I schedule it like it's something really important that can't wait. Every day, Monday through Saturday. Sunday is the day that I spend with my grandpa. Every day I wake up, drink my coffee, and read for a bit. Then I go up stairs, get dressed,…
  • See..that's what I thought! Its totally up to the individual. I tried eating then gym, and even though I ate the usual amount and wasn't full, I felt really sick afterwards. Like lose your lunch sick. I make sure to stay in the fat burning range for my age/weight and don't feel any worse for wear other than being all…
  • My mom got divorced when I was 7. I'm 27 now and she still calls herself divorced. She also never wants to get married again, so she is happy with the title. I think that it's whatever you are comfortable saying. If you are past all of the emotional parts that come with divorced and the papers are signed...call yourself…
  • * Can't never did anything but get in the way * If you haven't loved you haven't lived * Its ok to feel how you feel. Emotions are what let's us know we are alive * Never start a fight...but be able to finish one!
  • Not sure where you live, but if you shop anywhere other than Aldi..you are paying to much for food. Sure it's generic food, but the brand name companies are the ones who make these products. I have never been able to taste the difference. Buy cheese by the brick and not pre-shredded. It will save you money if you shred it…
  • Uhhhh...no. Maybe is his experience, which is why he goes for them. He thinks that we are easy pickings because we are lonely. Just because I'm fat doesn't mean I'm lonely. A lot of bigger girls do have self esteem problems, and I am one of those. But it's also a matter of what we are taught. My mother taught me well. They…
  • Spinach...tis lovely. Cheese is a must, but not the nasty Velveeta. More along feta or blue cheese. I prefer Romaine, but crisp Ice berg is yummy too. Also a crunch...right now I'm using a tablespoon of fried onions. yummy Red onions are a requirement no matter what!
  • Another crock pot recipe coming your way! 3-4 chicken breasts. 1 cup hotsauce 1 packet dry ranch mix. Put all in the crock pot on low for 6 hours. I usually do it overnight so I have it for lunch. Hand shred the chicken. Great with rice or in a tortilla. I really like using Special K chips (salt flavor), put the chicken on…
  • Hot sauce is your friend. It is proof that god loves us and wants us to be happy. That being said, I usually only have it about once a day. It IS very high in sodium. Make sure that you drink plenty of water (which you should be doing anyway) and don't use the whole bottle in one sitting. My doctor said to just use it once…
  • Over easy! Or eggs Benedict.....so yummy
  • Personally I don't use Curves, but my mother does. She loves it. She's retired so it really doesn't matter WHEN she goes so the closed for lunch isn't really a problem for her. At her location they also do Zumba twice a week, so she gets some variety. She doesn't go consistently though..but that's her issue. When she WAS…
  • Once every two weeks. Saturday morning, as soon as I get up. I go into the bathroom, strip, and face the scale of doom. That is the official weigh in, sometimes I DO sneak a peek, but don't record.
  • Not sure where you live, but most gyms have childcare, esp during the 5 to 7 pm crunch. And exercise is just like eating right: it HAS to become a priority in life. It has to be like scheduling work, driving, errands, all of it. That's the hardest part.
