When the advertisement content basically translates to: "Look at yourself! You should be ASHAMED to be out in PUBLIC looking like THAT! And don't even THINK about going REMOTELY NEAR a BEACH! But don't worry, we can fix ALL your issues, weight-related or not! Because EVERYONE knows that your ONLY value is your clothing…

This. As I got closer to my goal, I was lucky to get -0.5lb a week. Then there's hormonal fluctuations, water retention, etc. That can make things even less linear. You might even gain weight temporarily if you get your period, are constipated, or eat very salty food. Just a heads up because I panicked a little.

People who park in "my" spot. It's a public road so I don't have any claim to it (hence the irrationality), but I'm a creature of habit!

I think it would depend for me. For things like tops and shorts, if they were in good condition (not stained/stretched/overly worn) then sure. Socks, skins, swimsuits, and sports bras are a no unless they're from a close friend or family member. My sisters have a habit of wearing things once and deciding they don't want…

Not sure how they all fare on the sodium count, but if you're looking for some alternatives these go pretty well in stir-fries: - Plum sauce - Hoisin sauce - Worchestershire sauce - Fish sauce - Tamari sauce - Sesame oil - Sweet chilli sauce - Teriyaki sauce - Kecap Manis Then there's about a million different spices in…

My shopping list usually depends on what I'm planning to cook, but usually I have these kitchen staples: - Rice (pretty much every variety, but the biggest bag is just regular old white rice) - Spices & seasonings (I've accumulated next to every spice on the planet by this point) - General sandwich stuff (ya'know,…

I personally love them, but I know some people have issues with the texture. My favourites have to be Cookies & Cream, Apple Pie, and Double Choc Chunk. Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Peanut Butter, White Choc & Raspberry, Cookie Dough, Mixed Berry Bliss, Cinnamon Roll, Coconut Cashew, and Vanilla Almond Crunch are all…

Honestly, I think you should be talking to a doctor about this...

Haha, thank you - didn't quite expect that! :blushing: I appreciate you taking the time to tell me and will keep it in mind for when the mirror's being particularly vicious

Ok, so this has been a lot more difficult than I thought. Some days I look in the mirror and see something between 15-18, others I see a 1. I don't mean any offence to the ladies pictured, I'm just trying to illustrate that it's difficult for me to see myself as I am. Then I look at pictures and become all the more…

Bump, because I've spent the last few weeks smacking my head against said wall and it's frustrating :grumble:

Family-sized (500g) bags of Nestle Chocolate Smarties. I'd buy them on my way home from work/school/whatever and then have dinner afterwards. 2,300 calories in one sitting from the candy alone. And this was a very regular ordeal.

I have a SPI Belt - it's like an unobtrusive little pouch that I use to store my bank card, driver's license, and car key. It would probably fit my phone as well, even though it's a bit too big to carry around for my liking.

Dinners from last week

I've just started shift work on student placement (as part of my university course). I've only had one (12-hour, from 1900-0700) night shift so far but I found this worked okay for me. I had dinner around 6:30, and arranged my day so I had about 500 calories left over. Since I'm on 2000 per day, this wasn't too…

Here are the ones I've enjoyed...on a varying level of 'healthiness' - Special K (I have to throw in some dried fruit or it tastes boring to me) - Crunchy Nut Clusters (in the cupboard right now) - Uncle Toby's Plus Sports (chosen for its dried apple content, haha) - Rice Bubbles (also good dry with sliced…

I'd forgotten to post these earlier - this is what I was eating last week:

^ This. Doesn't hurt and is nothing to worry about  It's probably a good idea to have a light pad on too as a precaution (it won't bother you during the run as you won't feel...squelchy...if that makes sense).

I'm shaving them for later
