- Shopping trolleys being left in car spaces. - Rubbish in the library when there's a bin two meters away. - Certain TV shows (Jersey Shore, Real Housewives, etc.) - Commercials that go for more than 30 seconds. - Empty containers returned to the fridge/freezer. - Wads of gum abandoned under desks/tables/chairs. - When…

Hi there, I've never personally been a smoker, but I have had relatives who have been (and quit). With weight gain, it seems to be that people replace smoking with eating so as to have something to do with their mouths. So that's why gum, even of the regular non-nicotine variety, can help. But if you don't want to go down…

Brownie pan for me! Yep, it just happened to be the milk I had open at the time  Uhmm...I can't measure it right now but it wasn't enormous. I just guessed by the amount of batter that was in the bowl. They're pretty dense so aren't going to overflow when the bicarbonate of soda kicks in. I cut it into 8…

Yep. I'm far from a 'clean' eater, but I have noticed that with some things I just don't enjoy them as much as I used to. For instance, a few weeks ago I had potato crisps for the first time in ages. Just didn't taste nice. As for feeling sick...a lot of fast food tends to do that to me now. The worst culprit seems to be…

Exactly! I've had half the pan today

Mango chicken curry! No, not from scratch - I'm a bit of a lazy cook, especially these days (exam time). But still, I've been sure to cram in lots of veggies! And I baked protein brownies for dessert to be served with Greek yoghurt

Start anything to the tune of this: "You're sooooo lucky because you're naturally slim and don't have to work at it while I've tried everything and excuse excuse excuse excuse..." Um, I work really f---ing hard, thank you. At least that one I try to take as a compliment since I'm supposedly making maintainence look easy…

The nutrition calculator has come to my rescue a time or two. That said, I don't tend to deviate from my standard order on the occasion I do go. 6" toasted tuna sub on wheat with honey mustard sauce (or sweet chilli if I'm feeling spontaneous!) and ALL THE VEGGIES. Ok, I joke, just the ones I like. I stay away from cheese,…

Good sources include: - Nuts (almonds, walnuts, etc.) & nut butters - Seeds (flaxseed, sunflower, etc.) - Olives & olive oil - Eggs - Avocado - Fish (e.g. salmon, mackarel, herring, anchovies, sardines) I would also highly recommend avocado on toast topped with smoked salmon and black pepper. YUM.

Eggplant, don't you even think about sneaking on my shopping list! This goes for you too, asparagus!

Sports I love the most are badminton, judo, taekwondo, and volleyball

And time  Just like with weight loss, it takes patience and consistency.

I like the look of the second one more (just pinned it, haha!), but there's no reason why you can't try both!

I think I'm going to have nightmares after reading these

Apparently it's a huge deal in some places. I didn't know what it even was until my sisters started going on and on about how important they thought it was to have one. My 17 year old sister does hockey, touch football, swimming, netball...you name it. She has a six-pack, been the family sporty kid all her life, and looks…

I personally prefer dudes with short hair. There are exceptions, especially if they have that kinda tribal look going on (think Ronan fro Stargate Atlantis...). But to me more importantly than the length of their hair is personal hygiene. Long hair can be very high-maintainence. So if you have it, you have to be willing to…

Just had a delicious lunch of... Two tuna wraps (one sweet chilli flavoured, the other mayonnaise & corn) with tomato, cucumber, and grated carrot. Which came to a total of 373 calories with 52g carbs, 30g protein, and 3g fat.

Simple, yes. The level of difficulty depends on the person. For some, it's just a matter of 'I'm active and healthy, but over winter I put on five pounds and would rather them go away before I have to wear a swimsuit'. For others, it involves addressing complicated issues (psychological, medical, etc.) and making huge…

I had two out a couple weeks ago, which left me with one side of my mouth to shovel food into. So I imagine the days following your procedure are going to be VERY rough. Especially since they're all impacted. Anyway, here's what I can recommend to start off with. Trust me, with soups and things you are not going to want to…

I had a pair of old business pants, Australian size 8 (US4?) that were bought years ago for band performances and only now fit me again. Deciding I needed new ones, I hit up Target, which is where I had purchased the old ones from. All of them were too big, despite being labelled the same size. Last year I grabbed a pair…

Double bra'ing things down and compression tights/running skins. It really does make a HUGE difference

Harry Potter  But I don't have that poster any more so now the theme of my walls is Supernatural and Code Geass!
