Thank you for sharing - it's really inspiring to see someone who has done so well (you can tell you've changed a LOT since your Before Pics). Well done! xxx

Never mind, found it! :)

Possibly a bit of a dumb question, but how do you add people as friends? Would be really jazzed to have some more vibrant, positive people on my news feed :)
-
I really needed to hear some good, well-reasoned sense today - you're a real inspiration!

£22 - just a cut and blow dry. I should probably shop around to get a cheaper deal - though sometimes my gran cuts my hair for me! :)

Wow, just wow. You've really given me hope that I can make big changes in my own life. You are truly inspirational xx

Yep, sufferer here - I have bipolar disorder and the winter makes things much, MUCH worse. My mum bought me a SAD lamp, which I've not used much of, but I do take an omega 3 supplement to help deal with the depression and things seem to have been slightly better since then. I also take a pretty heavy dose of antidepressant…

Thanks everyone for your replies, they really mean a lot! Yes, hopefully this is a lifestyle change this time - all the best to you for your own journeys x

I have 110lbs-ish to lose - if you start a group, let me know! It would be good to have some support - it's already heartening to see that there are so many other kindred spirits out there in the 100+lbs to lose range :)
-
I agree with one of the previous posters, you look so much happier and full of zest in your after picture - congratulations on the maintain, you're a real inspiration! :)
-
That's good information about it asking every 10lbs loss, I didn't realise that. I had just been changing it manually in the settings (to be honest, it doesn't change by many calories for every pound lost - I think mine changed by maybe 20 calories every pound lost)
-
I'd like to lose 5lbs this November - that will take me past my one stone lost mark :)

Try and mix up what you do at night - watching TV is a really passive (but enjoyable!) activity that lends itself well to 'attacks of the munchies'... maybe you could try playing the PS3 or the Wii just to shake things up a bit, if you are into gaming. Other than that, if you know you're going to want to snack, think about…

Hey mr, you're a real inspiration - and thanks for the great tips! x
-
That's a phenomenal amount of weight to lose in just over a year - like a few previous posters have pointed out, you look like an entirely different guy! Great work!
-
Every time I have gained a sizeable amount of weight, a lot of it has gone onto my chest - I'm kinda sorta hoping that when I start to lose weight, it will come off again (though reading the posts on this topic, I'm beginning to fear that may not be the case!). Ah, the trials and tribulations of having big boobs!
-
You look fabulous - your start weight is what I weigh currently, and seeing the amazing progress you've made is very inspiring! Great job mrs!
-
Bang - this is a brilliant thread haha!
-
I don't even know you and I'm so proud of you - amazing job! You're a real inspiration x

It's scary how fast all those calories add up - I remember back when I started calorie counting (about 2005), I was utterly horrified by how many calories were in a Dairy Milk. I honestly couldn't figure out how I was going to be able to LIVE off what I thought then was a paltry amount. Now, I'm lucky to hit 1500. Good…

First thing in the morning, after the loo and in the nude, with the scale in the exact same place... ... no need to introduce new variables into an emotionally fraught situation!

Aside from sticking to spirits and diet mixers, you could try spacing alcoholic drinks with plain water or diet fizzy juice? If there's a sit down meal you maybe won't have a lot of options but try to eat slowly and avoid the usual culprits like heavy sauces. At the end of the day, I assume you want to go and have fun as…

Thanks for your replies guys! I might try fitting in my walking earlier in the day - it would be good to have the satisfaction of a job well done when it comes to sticking with the calories throughout the rest of the day.
-
I liked this video - specifically the exhortation to 'eat your f*@%ing fibre' - hehe!

Hah, I'm glad I'm not the only one this happens to! I wake up sometimes after dreaming I've really blown my calories and the relief that I feel when I realise it's just a dream is palpable!
