Thanks so much for a detailed response :smile: I'm actually the opposite, my arch is too high! The reason my instructor said not to squat low is so that I can focus on my form, once I am sure I am doing my squats properly and not injuring myself, I can squat low.

Haha - thanks for that! I don't think it is my shoes, they are expensive Nike (or Adidas, can't remember lol) and I've always used them with no problems. You would be burning so many calories. Buy a FitBit, that will record your calories burnt based on your movements. I wear one on my bra all the time and can track how many calories I burn each day. I definitely recommend a FitBit.

I just find it funny how most shortcuts (shakes, pills, etc.) have a fine print that reads something like 'must be taken in conjunction with daily exercise and healthy eating,' so really, they do nothing lol.

I agree. Fitbit zips are only $60. Also, you can't put a price on your health, if you really want to get fit and healthy invest a little money, time and effort. Standing won't get you there. Let me give you some perspective; today I did 25 squats with 20kg weights and only burned about 30 calories. So no, your standing…

No, I wouldn't log standing. It's not really movement. Get yourself a fitbit and that will tell you how active you are.

I have a Polar FT4 as well as a FitBit zip. I use my HRM to log all my exercises, while I wear my fitbit all day to track my activity. I keep my fitbit on while using my HRM. I love them both and would recommend them both.

Some people's circumstances are different. I eat between 1000-1200 calories a day (when I'm doing things right) because I burn very few calories (I'm extremely small at 145cm). So if I eat 1200 calories on a day without exercise, I actually WILL NOT lose anything. Sometimes you should just keep that in mind I guess..

Unfortunately, nothing helps bloating but going to the bathroom for me (sorry). Sometimes it takes days though, up to a week. I don't recommend drinking too much water as that will cause you to be even more bloated. Edit: Bloating from my monthlies goes away after my monthlies start, nothing I can do about that :(

I cut fat away from ANYTHING I eat, absolutely hate it. Before I cook it, while it's raw so I can see all the white, I cut it out. I over cut if I have to so I don't miss a bit of fat lol.

It depends where I'm going and what I need to do. A casual outing, definitely half an hour including shower is plenty of time. If we're dressing up, an hour. And I start getting ready with enough time to leave on time, my boyfriend on the other hand, aargh!
