High repetitions don't make you "tone" or burn fat more than low repetitions. In fact, compromising the intensity of your workout by using less weight and more reps makes you burn less fat in comparison with muscle (burning fat requires oxygen - aerobic exercise meaning that you have to breathe) and your body will have to…

I wouldn't say two slices of pizza are 1,000 calories. That's a bit absurd. I would be incredibly fat if that were the case

I ate about 6,200 on Friday - 3,700 over

The requirements for companies to put "Natural" on a product are very loose

Peanut Butter & Co. "Smooth Operator" is all natural - 3 ingredients I believe. I tasted it this morning and it's pretty good, I'm having it for lunch. Of course it's a bit dry, but nearly all of the fat is mono or poly unsaturated and there are only 3g sugar (as opposed to 7-8 in others I've had). The fact that there is…

Hi! wait, I'm not a girl...whoops, why am I here :/ 5'10 167, trying to get down to 155 to lose my love handles and have to move less weight to be the #1 hurdler in my league this Spring as a Senior. Add me..I love the support and try to give it as often as possible

I have a few lol...first and foremost Marquette is my squad. I'm also a fan of Xavier, Baylor (been a fan since Tweety Carter & Lace Dunn), Robert Morris, Lehigh, Wisconsin (love Bo Ryan), Vanderbilt, and Washington. I think I love CBB more than I love individual teams haha

Eat a little more than your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) - that's your daily goal + the amount MFP has put you in deficit (Daily Calorie Deficit 420 calories - for me) + any exercise calories So if your MFP goal is 1600/day And you're set to be at a 500 deficit per day And you exercised 900 calories today Eat a…

We don't have to learn about that stuff anymore, our smartphones do it for us! /sarc

I know it's not my business but I'd advise highly against Casein protein. Read the book "The China Study" "The consumption of animal protein, especially casein in cow's milk, results in higher concentrations of calcium in the blood, which inhibits the process by which the body activates vitamin D in the kidneys to a form…

I have this too. The Vanilla is surprisingly good with 8 oz of water (too much water makes all protein shakes disgusting imo). It takes like there is a ton of sugar in it but there are only two grams. Be careful though, there are about 3 grams of creatine monohydrate in BF whey protein, so if you use it, drink a lot of…

For me, its one. LOYALTY. I won't have a relationship with a girl unless I know she's right, so I don't have to worry about the other things. I can go for weeks without seeing someone I'm in a relationship with because distance is nothing more than distance.

yeah, i watch my carbs and protein. I try to get as few as possible of the former and as much as possible of the latter. also, sugar (means I'm overindulging and usually binge later that day/the next day) and sodium (for health reasons). actually, fiber too (make sure i'm pooping enough)
-
if you're weight lifting, raise your protein levels by a good amount. either way, raise your protein levels. only 70% of protein can be converted and stored as fat. and notice that carbs and protein do the same thing when there is an excess: they are stored as fat. and some excess protein is even excreted by the body.

clap clap clap clap clap clap "Cheat days" are healthy. It's just when you have two or three days in a week going way over caloric expenditure that you fail your week (I have unfortunately experienced this many times).
-
Don't call it a "cheat day"...it makes it sound like you're doing something wrong! shov is right, you need to mix up your caloric intake so that your body doesn't get used to a certain amount of calories and so that you can healthily lose weight (1. maintain metabolism rate, 2. retain muscle mass, 3. lose fat).. Some…

You should strength train and then do cardio. You need most of your energy to push yourself in strength training so that you can convert your fat into building muscle and then using whatever is left to push your body in cardio.

Boxer briefs that are soft but not too tight. For exercise - compression shorts. Nike are the most comfortable for me.

i think i am, yes

I had like 275 grams today that is a bit ridiculous, but no it shouldn't be an issue if you're on MFP levels and are drinking enough water/eating enough fiber

If only

Eat some of them. If you are working out and burning few calories (100-200), I would say it doesn't really matter what you do because your diet should vary from 100-200 calories daily anyway. But if you're heavily active (750-1000+), I would say eat back around 50-75% of them. I zig-zag calories and don't really base my…

mh, makes sense. i was scared for a bit there, i loooove my pizza. i don't know if I could limit my pizza intake on friday nights
-
One slice is seriously 350-400 calories? I was thinking 250. I'm not sure if it's different because I've never had New York style pizza, but 400 calories for one slice of pizza seems a bit high to me.
