Yes! Thank you Lucia and Kiki and all the great people in this group! I have learned so much and I feel so liberated! I've never been able to stick to a VLCD for more than 2 days so I always gave up. Now I can do this and I am doing it!! Thank you for always being there for questions and your support! :drinker:

I love your post! I can so relate! I had my husband hide my scale for 2 weeks when I first started EMWL in April and it was so freeing! I too went shopping and bought clothes that I can wear now and didn't feel bad about it. I'm going shopping again this weekend just for me, I'm not in a size 8 like I was hoping to be by…

I think it is different for every person and finding what makes you and your body happy. I enjoy kettlebells, TRX suspension and body weight training. Just keep looking and trying new things. You'll find something that works for you.

Wow! You look amazing! Thanks for the encouragment and the reminder that the scale is a liar! Congrats on sticking to a challenging workout regimen and seeing amazing results!

The only exercise where my HRM matches MFP is walking. Other than walking my HRM shows a lot lower calorie burn then what MFP estimates.

If you're following the TDEE then your activity level is already figured in the number. A 10-20% cut is ideal. You don't need to eat back exercise calories unless you are netting below your BMR. It's also okay to stagger calories like lower on non workout days and higher on workout days. At least that's how I understand it.

I know how you feel! I handed my scale to my husband and told him to hide it for 2 weeks! I still obsess over it though! Hang in there!

I would definately count it! I'm not an expert but circuit training burns a ton of calories. I wear a HRM and usually burn about 400 in 50 minutes of circuit training with cardio bursts. When I just lift (no cardio) my heart rate says around 125-135 within my zone. So yes I count it! Also when you are weight lifting esp…

The 30 day shred hurt my knees and joints so bad too! I currently do rebounding on a soft bounce mini trampoline and kettlebell training. My body no longer aches after a workout. My muscles are sore but in a good way. Just try something new until you find something that you love and work for you. Good Luck!
