  • I usually leave my towel in one machine while I work on another, if needed. Or do not unload the barbell... people have been courteous enough not to mess with it (so far)
  • 2B - check! Definitely need a massage... I have a knot on my upper back, left shoulder... YTWLs didn't help with the DOMs... I'm also having a hard time balancing on the partial squats... I wore my flat shoes last night and I was wobbly. Didn't have an issue with my other shoes.

  • Definitely re-evaluate your calories... Other things to consider: Macros (are you getting enough protein?) Calories at each meal (I am a firm believer of 5-6 smaller meals). Water intake Just my two cents :flowerforyou:
  • I complete 2A Saturday and will do 2B tonight. I was able to increase all the weights for 2A... balancing on the single leg deadlifts are still tricky, but getting better. My planks were okay...   • In the book it says to go as low as you can go without hurting your back or knees... then he continues to say "remember it's a partial squat"... so from that I gather that the goal is not to go parallel.

  • Good info... thanks! I will definitely lift heavier next session (and change my lifting schedule to Fri and Sun only)... no way I can spend that much time in the gym during the work week.

  • Hi Ladies... I completed my first A workout for Stage 3 Friday evening. The one arm OH squat was weird (10lbs OH/20 lower)... I had a hard time keeping my elbows locked.   • Jen and Ellie - same here. I measured after Stage1 and gained or stayed the same at all points of measurement - but I lost 1.5 lbs.... so I'm comforting myself with the thought that I lost inches in areas I don't measure LOL... :laugh:

That deadlift on the box is crazy... stayed at the weight from Stage 1. 1st set was okay, but 2nd set was a struggle. .. definetly need to lower the weight next time.   • Hi everyone--- I'm about to start Stage 2 and I had a question about rest days. I know the author says to rest for a "full day" --- which means 24 hrs.... so it should be okay to workout on Sunday at around 2p... then again on Monday around 7p. It meets the 24 hour requirement, but not sure if that's what he really meant.…

  • Workouts 1-4 are two sets Workouts 5-8 are three sets WO 1&2 - 15 reps WO 3&4 - 12 reps WO 5&6 - 10 reps WO 7&8 - 8 reps

  • Hi everyone... I have been sick since Friday, I'm very disappointed, but I guess I needed to time off. I plan on going back to the gym on Friday for A6. I might lower the weight a bit just to make sure I don't relapse.
