  • Hi Karen... great job on your progress. I went on a business trip last week, so it was good timing for rest week. My trainer took measurements on Saturday and I lost 9.5 inches all over... and get this... increase 1/2 lb in weight... but my BF% is up by 0.1% (lost some muscle too)... but I'm attributing that to no workouts…

  • Hi Karen... I think the main difference is the position of your back leg.... the static lunge is on the floor... split squat (bench height) should be much higher. This question was also brought up in Stage 4... static lunge rear foot elevated (which would be on a step). Yes... I'm already lurking in here.... :laugh:

  • Yes... I feel silly just standing there when I'm clearly fully "recovered" and ready for the next set. Last night I only rested 60-75 sec.

  • Just a quick check-in... I've been sick since last Thursday... so zero workouts for me. Also my shoulder is still bothering me, so I may take a hiatus from heavy lifting for a month or two and turn into a cardio princess again. I have a Dr appt early Oct, so I'll ask him about my shoulder then.... hopefully it will loosen…

  • Completely understand where you are coming from. My main problem area is my big fat belly... with all the talk about NROL4abs on the Daily Thread, I'm very tempted to jump ship.... but I'm so close to finishing this program.... I might skip Stage 6 since it's optional :bigsmile:
  • Started S5 last night... I was able to increase weights on most exercises. The BWM was a killer --- 2:05 then 1:53.... definitely pushed myself too hard on the 2nd one. I felt extremely fatigued after that.... had a hard time sleeping... oh... and my shoulder is letting me know that it didn't appreciate the extra push.…

  • Got sidetracked by a business trip that went a day over. I was supposed to lift my final B workout... but I was just too tired. Thursday is usually a very hectic day---- but I am mentally preparing myself to go tonight!

  • Karen-I will rest for a little over a week. I'm going to give my shoulder a break. The next 90 day challenge at our gym starts 9/10... I'll start S5 that week.
