I tried it. I loved that it was definetly filling but the flavor was off. I could definetly taste the greek yogurt. I only used almond milk, rolled oats, and greek yogurt because I couldn't find Chia seeds. I didn't add anything else, so I didn't like the flavor. After I find the Chia seeds, I will try it again and add…

I started out with Sparkpeople, P90X, and MFP. I added WW and discontinued Sparkpeople and P90X. I am doing much better on WW because it teaches you how to choose better foods. I eat my calorie count in Sparkpeople and MFP but would not lose weight. I don't really like or follow eating plans (sparkpeople and P90X). I ate…

I changed my pts from 31 to 28 around the end of February. I started losing about 4 to 6oz per week. Before, I was not losing anything. The lower pts seem to be working.

I usually purchase my swimsuits from Landends. I am top heavy as well. My friend who is top heavy but thin. She purchases her swimsuits from Speedo and is an avid swimmer.

My doctor stated that I should eat 1200 calories on a day I don't workout. 1500 calories on a day that I do workout. This matches the calorie counting for MFP. I wonder how many calories that we are eating with WW because fruit and vegetables are free.
-
I use MFP and WW to track. WW lets me eat a lot more than MFP. I have to exercise quite a bit to eat more than 2 times a day with MFP because MFP gives me 1200 calories. So, I have to burn at least 700 to 1000 calories to eat as much as WW gives me without working out. So I am trying to adjust between the two. I am…

I am here. Been really busy and these post are at bottom of my screen. If I am flying through, I don't see the post. I'm still really confused about the 2012 changes. I'm hearing that the changes will be obvious. I have noticed anything different with the exception of making an activity point goal.

OMG!!!! Who in the world invented fried/comfort food should be shot! I'm from Texas and we have the same problems. The "healthy options" are just as fattening. So, I just get the fried stuff and enjoy it. I work it off later. I order lettuce wrapped burgers and get the small fries. I heard suggestions to get the kid size…

Down 1.8 pounds this week! WHOOP WHOOP!!! This is my first loss so I'm not going to mess it up over Thanksgiving.
-
Well, I never really use my weeklies and I exchange my activity points first. I have been preserving my activity points for Thanksgiving. So, I have 30 activity points and my 49 weeklies for this week. Thanksgiving is only one day out of the year. So, I plan to eat normally and use my activity points. I will also do some…

I was 2 pts over yesterday. I still have my 49 weeklies because I switch out my activity pts first. And, I still have 26 activity pts for today and tomorrow. My week starts on Sunday so, we will start the thanksgiving food watch and decreased physical activity.

I see a lot of returning WW people talking about regaining their weight. I don't want to hit any of those roadblocks. So, I was wondering what happened or what points you missed which made you regain the weight. I know that the message boards can be brutal. So, please, if you don't have thing nice to say, then don't say it…

I log in everyday. I enter my food in WW and MFP at the same time. (Wish these two programs would talk to each other so I wouldn't have to log twice). I also favorite my foods so I don't have to look it up every time. During the week, I look at my progress about 2 times a week to see when I am eating the most. I also read…

It is a fact that coke is acidic. It is a fact that coke eats through rust. It is a fact that regular coke has empy calories. Why do you think that is a bunch of junk? Additionally, you (ElizabethRoad) might be the most addicted to coke because you are making the most noise!!!!! Done with this topic!

LOL!!!   I work with substance abusers and some of you guys sound like alcoholics and people who smoke marijuana. You get a little negative information about your drug of choice and you get defensive. I AM NOT saying that you guys are addicts. Here's what I am saying - If it is hindering your fitness,…

I need some different ideas: Why do you do WW if you don't track on their website? OR Why do you only track on MFP?

I went over by 1 pt on yesterday. I don't know if that was okay because I gained 12 activity points through a spin class. Since my body is still adjusting to having food, I think I should have eaten more. That may have been detrimental to my goal which is to bring my body out of calorie deprivation.
-
Drinking cold water drops your body's core temperature. I am not sure if you can send your body into shock because you drank ice cold water after an intense workout. I do know that you should be careful when drinking cold water when you are attemping to keep you body warm in extreme cold weather. Drinking cold water in…

I use a heart rate monitor to gauge my calories burned. My heart rate monitor will say "1000". MFP will say "500" when I enter the amount of time spent on my bike. So I go with my heart rate monitor because it is guaging my stats. If your bike is monitoring your heart rate then you should use your bikes information.

So I use my Activity Points first. Then I move into my weeklies. I find that I use up all my activity points and I don't even move into the weeklies. HOWEVER, I am notorious for only eating between 500 to 900 calories a day. 900 is a good day where I have focused on eating something 3 times a day. Now that I have started…

Welll that may be your problem. Look into getting some health insurance. Texas has CHAP (like CHIPs) which is sorta like Medicaid to kind of fill the gap until the health insurance act comes into play. If you are not in Texas, see if you state has that program.

I am on WW right now. I like it because it sort of forces you to increase you fruits and veggies intake. It also encourages you to increase whole grains and dairy. I got in on a deal so I didn't spend that much. I eat off the WW plan, log it in WW, and then log it in MFP. When I finalize my food for the day, it always…
