Here is another board gone astray! Over her calories, not working out, no cardio but walking every great once in a while and no weights. Your right it must be the carbs and sugar that did it! Seriously people u r insane!

Doesn't matter how many carbs people... why not give my diary a peek. I eat HIGH carbs and low protein. You can eat whatever you want its about the deficit and working out! Not very hard!

Thanks! 2 c-sections didn't help but doing it the right way with the workouts sure did. Even though I eat REALLY bad I have a deficit and I do both weights and cardio. I would look into getting a fitbit. Set your calories to "desk job" on MFP at lets say a 1200 calorie goal and then the fitbit will tell you where you are at for the day so you can adjust. It even links right to MFP so you don’t really have to make the adjustments the fitbit does. I have 5 kids so somedays I don't ever get…

This is not true. Its calories in and calories out, I don't eat "whole or clean foods" and since you are not really "exercising" just the ocasional walk you need to get moving.

Cardio 3x a week, weights 3x a week (not some dinky 3lb weights either), tighten up your diet and make sure your food is correct. Both, cardio 3x a week and strenght 3x... and diet. And don't lift 3lb weights and think that is strength training.

What he said... I went from 19.7% body fat to 16.3% while maintaining about the same weight on a deficit and lost alot of inches. I was off lifting for a while so I had the "prolonged layoff". I gained a freakin lot of muscle. AND I did it on a 500-1000 calorie deficit with little to no protein.

You need both. I have ALWAYS done both. 3x a week cardio 3x a week strenght. Lift decent to heavy. Muscle burns more fat and keeps you toned for longer and holds everything together.

Does your HRM take into account your height, age, weight and everything? MFP over estimates mine always so I manually enter mine.
