This is really off base. To the OP, your body will do it on it's own if you are eating right and portion controls. The stories you hear about "i did a detox and lost 10 lb's in 1 week" are always water weight and usually they find it later on. Eat healthy and your body will take care of itself.

and you really think that was because you eliminated dairy and the other foods? Sounds like water weight was lost....To lost 7lbs in 2 days you would have to be negaive 24,500 in those 2 days....weights fluctuate. Dairy is not bad for your waistline, it's like everything else....in moderation

MFP sets it's protein levels too low anyways.....going over is usually never a problem. Google macros for protein and look at a few different sites....you'll see much higher recomendations.....

Another Beer :-) If i'm watching a game with some friends, i'm at the Gym in the morning and try to kill it. Then it's ok to do the beer and snacks. For healthy snacks i like the water crackers with laughing cow cheese, nuts, and love making buffalo chicken wrapped in egg roll wrappers -- search fort he recipe....it's…

i belong to a Y in a city and it's 85.00......but i dont' pay for any classes. For the record, i have a trainer there and she's not a stick but wouldn't call her over weight either. She use to weigh 280lbs and lost it. If your concerned about appearance that's fine, but i want someone who has been where i was and is where…

And let me guess, you think that cigarette companys should be held accountable for causing cancer. This is exactly what is wrong with some people today. They don't take responsiblity for anything. It's everyones fault but their own. No it's not Restaurants being irresponsible, it's consumers being irresponsible and not…

DIET: I eat 1200 cals and workout off 200-350 cals. I don't eat them back. (Yes, I know it's not as healthy but I have a August deadline for my bf's wedding). The fact you know it's not healthy and still decide to do it is perplexing. Putting a deadline on this is just a bad idea.

I think Dennis Leary says it best. "eating meat is an instinct, not eating meat is a choice"

Not to be a jerk, but i'm confused why you would be baffled. If I see something you are doing and don't agree with it and chose to not associate myself with you, what's confusing about that?
-
It's because they don't agree with the lifestyle you are choosing to live. Instead of preaching to you they just chose to not associate themselves with you. Quite simply 800 Calories is way too few to nourish properly. Some of these people here have come from eating disorders in the past and they view that as an eating…

The reason it's slowing down is that your body is catching up to the huge deficit in calories/day. It works in the beginning but does catch up... It's not that you are eating 1200 calories that is awful (i would recommend more, but listen to your body) it's the fact that after exercise you are probably netting like 700…

wow, that's amazing...congrats. Love the 2 of you in the same pants!

Every time i see a title like this, I know what i'm going to see when i open it up .....eating 1200 calories or less. It works for a bit, but once your body catches up with it, it stalls out. Definitely try upping your calories at least a couple of hundred and see if that works. People get so hung up on....my bmr is…

Check out this thread. I have a ton of respect for him and it all makes alot of sense. I've upped mine and started losing after a plateau of a month. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/538381-in-place-of-a-road-map

you really need to find what works for you. I'm a big proponet of not eating below BMR. Think of it this way, BMR is what your body needs in calories to just lie in bed....so if you were lying in bed all day, fine....but your not i'm assuming. Look up TDEE and read on that as well. It's pretty eye opening.

what is really helpful to some is to set MFP to maintain, and then the calories burned is the deficit. It works fairly well if you are very active. If you want, you can log the exercise minutes, but just log 1 calorie burned so you don't get confused. Upping the calories is a great way to break the plateau as well!. It…

Dogfish, Troeggs, Boulevard Brewing, Left Hand.....I mean the list is endless.....If you drink coors, miller or bud, by all means log it as water but if you drink real beer, log it as the calories!
