No this pain isn't normal. My opinion as a Sports Therapist is you should never work through pain, you should never do intense training without 24/48 hours recovery (for muscles/tendons/ligaments to repair) and you should do longer warm-up/cool down than the 30 DS is recommending. I would advise changing your exercise…

OMG its so big!!!! My husband would kill me if I asked him to build that in his garage he already moans that my treadmill, fitness ball and weights take up more than enough room. At the moment I balance my bar on the tall freezer (which he also moans about being in the garage!!) which isn't ideal or safe I know. Might just…

I wish we were allowed to lift everyday!! Im eating maintenance calories and without exercise its 2170 and then I add on exercise calories that I…

Start your day by logging last nights evening meal and snacks. Then finish your day by logging the following days breakfast and lunch. I struggled to eat less at night, but never had a problem with eating a small breakfast and lunch. I find that by logging my eveing meal and snacks at the beginning of my 'day', I can then…

Hi there. Maxitone sculptress is just the same as Maxitone Promax Diet, but more expensive!! I use promax diet after my exercise and also sometimes as a meal replacement (if I've had a particularly bad day calorie wise) which I mix with milk if a meal replacement. It is indeed very filling. I've never tried the tablets so…

Thought I'd do a quick update. Wish I'd done this ages ago as it really is working for me. I also exercise first thing (before breakfast) so if I had too many cals for my evening meal and snack I know exactly how many to burn to allow for a decent breakfast to refuel and lunch.

That is great to see and there is a huge difference in your stomach area and back. Has exercise helped with the toning or just watching calories?

LOL @ Martin.

Compliments like that aren't necessary are they. Its much nice to get an admiring look, a second glance or even a wolf-whistle.

chedges, that seems a fantastic idea. I really struggle with eating over in the evenings too, but can go with less food during the day. Think I'm going to give that a try too, thanks for the tip.

You should never eat below your BMR. You are going to always get conflicting advise on here so listen to your body. Do what works for your body. For me I eat absolutely everything back and I've lost my 14 lb and now on maintenance.

There's certainly less of you around the hip and stomach area. You're fortunately already blessed with lovely slim legs which is where I carry my excess. Well done , keep going

Hi there only just seen your post. Todays diary looks great, but did you enjoy everything you ate? To stick and make it a lifestyle change you have to enjoy every mouthful or it won't change and you will slip back into the habits that made you heavier in the first place. If you did enjoy it, fantastic and well done.…

My purging was always with laxatives, diuretics and exercise, could never vomit.

My allowance is 2300 per day. I am very active in my job, 5 ft 11 in, and got 4lbs to go to goal. I started on here at 1700 thinking 2300 sounded too much. But I just wasn't losing. Its taken a year to lose 13lb. Since slowly raising my cals to 2300 the weight is dropping off. If you've entered all your stats correctly…
