  • Hated it for 42 years, one day I decided millions of runners can't be wrong, bought good running shoes, started running. After a few weeks I experienced runner's high after 3 mile run, feeling giddy and euphoric. Started thinking about marathons. Broke my leg about a month later, haven't been able to run much since.
  • For me, it depends on the workout. Cardio (running, biking, stairmaster, etc.) and I'm hyped up and wide awake for hours. Lift weights (all out effort) and I'm out like a light. I turn this to my advantage and do cardio in the morning, weights in the evening.
  • It really takes more than a week for any meaningful results.   • Thanks for the write up. During February I lost about 7 pounds using 1500 calories, and just this week switched to 1800. The idea of going to ~2300 is hard to swallow (pardon the pun).
