Yep! 43 here. I joined last year with decent results --31 lbs. Then my gym closed and I moved and..... well most (all but 10) of the weight came back between Aug and December. I recently found a new gym in my new location. Now I am working to get a routine going and to work on being better to mind and body.

43 here. Best shape of my life at 35 then the slide.... I seem to gain and lose the same 30 lbs. Trying to keep going. Not giving up. Always nice to have positive support and advice.

I love this thread. Thanks @sepa for asking the question. I am 43 and know it is coming. Can already recognize changes. Nice to read from others that I have been there.

I tend to eat cereal 1x a week and it is Bob's Red Mill 7 or 10 grain cereal. When I eat bread I buy Dave's Killer Bread. Its readily available in Oregon but not sure if it is in other regions.

Ugh. I have been there...am there. Life is hard and it is even harder when you have depression. I think acknowledging where you are and your struggles is a great positive step. Keep on keeping on. Also, talk with your doctor or therapist if you have not already. Pausing for deep breathes can do wonders too.

There are many gems here: http://topics.oregonlive.com/tag/going%20vegan/index.html This salad is always a hit a potlucks. I usually use Stevia instead of sugar. Szechuan Black-Eyed Pea Salad: http://www.vegetariantimes.com/recipe/szechuan-black-eyed-pea-salad/

It is SO possible. YOU CAN DO IT!

Every month this happens --happening now! Some are worse than others. I really don't have any tricks to offer except to echo what others have said: move on when it is over. I found if I dwell on my mess up every month that just creates negative energy that I don't need. Of course, I don't give myself a free pass either. I…

I know I burn more than 2 calories when I do them. :) MFP has yoga in its database.

I like this! Echoing what @mhoover86 said.

RexKt you look fantastic. Thanks for the inspiration!

I still drink. Usually its wine. But occasionally I will have gin & tonic, martinis, or a microbrew beer. My guy drinks Michelob Ultra because it is the lowest carb beer with the highest alcohol number. It still tastes like water to me so I don't even bother.

Aches and pains begone! You are such an inspiration! Esp. to those of us with similar starting stats. :)There's no doubt you will reach your goal Congratulations!!

I love LaCroix and Talking Rain sparkling water. Neither have any sodium and they do help make me feel full. I have had 2 glasses of beer this weekend...maybe I need to pick up some sparkling water. STAT!

I just looked back to 2/10th. I have been over 100 everyday except one when I only got 65 in . Today was 130-something. Yesterday 155.

This is what I do. Minus the vanilla and slivered almonds. I will have to try it with those additions.

I only log my step count in the notes field. If I take a 20 minute walk or use the elipitical machine I will log those exercises and eat back those calories, but I don't count my steps separately.

I don't eat oatmeal but these 2 ideas are pretty similar: Quinoa with dried fruit, nuts and almond milk. I also like Bob's Red Mill 7-grain cereal. Vegan Family Meals by Ann Gentry is a great book.
