  • I would check the serving size on the package. My guess would be about 2 tablespoons. It's high in protein, fiber, and healthy fats. By the way, it's way easy to make and way cheaper than buying it already packaged. -Pixie
  • Thank you ALL so much! 16 days left! Time to hit the treadmill!
  • Deborah, you can check out my two doggies on my profile!
  • Thank you! You look great by the way. How do you pace yourself outside? Yes, Breathing is a challenge for me, I need to slow it down!
  • Thank you Deborah! That is something I didn't think of. I don't have a car, so it would not be practical for me to train on the course, but i can go and check it out. I think that might boost my confidence. Or maybe not...:blushing: Your doggies are really cute!
  • Hey everyone! I'm bumping this because i'm wondering if anyone else has advice for me. Should I increase my total time jogging/walking or just decrease my walking time? Thanks! -Pixie
  • Well thank you for the encouragement! I do know that it is okay to walk/run a 5k, but i would rather run the whole thing if i can. I also do plan on getting outside and off the treadmill because i do realize it is different. My problem is my pace. When i get outside I tend to run faster than i should and wear myself out in…
  • I think Lucky has the right idea. When you feel stressed about something in particular you should post it. I also know from my own experience that sometimes it's hard to tell WHY I am eating. Am I really hungry? I realized not to long ago that when I feel lonely, I eat. I eat a LOT. I really have to check myself. When was…
  • Good job! Now you know what it will take, so just keep doing it! It won't always be easy, but you know it's worth it! -Pixie
  • I'm not sure what I was thinking. I guess I thought i needed a challenge. I signed up to do a 5K with some co-workers, but I HATE running. I only have 17 days left to train and I don't want to be left in the dust. Currently I can maintain a 5mph pace for about 4 minutes, then I recover for 2 minutes at 3mph, then bump it…
  • We made this a few nights ago. Very good. I plan on making it again tonight as a side dish. My boyfriend commented that it wasn't as crispy as he had expected, but still tasty.
  • Yes, for this recipe you will remove the beans from the shells before baking them. If you are just going to steam them, you just salt them in the shells and pop the beans out with your teeth.
  • Hi Cristina! Sounds like you have a really great attitude about this. May i ask why you want to lose weight? For me patience is key. It has taken me a long time to lose the weight i have lost. You just have to stick with it, no matter what. -Pixie
  • That sounds good! I just happen to have a whole bag of edamame in the freezer. I will try this tonight and let you know how how me and my boyfriend like it. -Pixie
  • Oh cheese...So good but so many calories.
  • So, here in the U.S. portions are OUT OF CONTROL. Usually 3 times bigger than what anyone should be eating in one meal. Is it the same in England or are they more reasonable? -Pixie
  • You don't do taking food home here? Where are you? Well, just be very careful of your portion. A serving of meat is the size of a deck of cards. -Pixie
  • I ALWAYS ask for a box BEFORE I put one bite in my mouth. I take 2/3 of the food off my plate and put in in the box for lunch tomorrow. I eat the 1/3 portion. I would save about 400 cals for your meal. But, that really depends on where you eat and what you order. If it's something really rich, it could be up to 500 cals.…

  • Hi Cheryl! I work at Ann Taylor Loft. This spring is all about color! I think the biggest will be yellow and dusty blues and purples. But any bright color will make you look fresh. I mostly shop at the LOFT and Ann Taylor because I'm under 5 feet tall and we sell petites. (oh yeah, and my great discount) But i also like…
