1400 sounds low...did you plug your info into MFP? My maintenance calories are 1800 at 170 lbs, I shoot for about 3500-5000 calorie deficit per week. Hope that helps...

I was able to stay at about 20-30 g carbs for about 3 mos. I lost about 40 lbs. For the next several months I tried to stay at about 60 g carbs and lost an additional 40 lbs. I also travel a ton and its a major committment to eat the right things.
