Hello ladies! I haven't been posting my workouts, so I used my exercise diary here to piece together as best I could. I am working a lot of overtime (nearly 15 hours a week) and am doing my best to fit in a workout when I can.

I have a few of Jari Love's Get Ripped workout DVDs, and she takes the same approach: moderate weights but tons of reps. I definitely feel her workouts, and they work (when I actually do them!) I will take real-world evidence over the self-proclaimed experts on the MFP forums :)

I have been MIA because I have been slacking and didn't want to admit it to everyone. But I knew I needed to come back and post what I have (and have not) done so far: April 1: 40 minutes elliptical (2 miles?) I have about 60 pounds to my goal weight, and it seems like a ton, and like I will never lose it! I am going to focus on one week at a time. I set myself a weekly weight loss goal of about 2 pounds.

Thank you so much! I hate taking my picture right now since I have gained so much weight, so I was hesitant to post that picture, but I wanted a recent picture instead of clinging to one from about 40 pounds ago, ha ha.

I did a lot of yard work yesterday but didn't track steps or anything, so I didn't log it as my workout. Happy Easter!

Hey, I feel like this was targeted to me, ha ha. Just kidding. I have been struggling since around Thanksgiving to get back on track, but I am going to try really hard to last past April 3rd :)

Hello! I am just coming back to MFP too after a weight gain. Ready to get back into gear and back into shape! I will send you a friend request.

I am new to the group and just got back into working out. I love Leslie Sansone, and I have also joined a walking group in my neighborhood. My goal is 60 miles for April (an average of 2 miles per day).

Hello! I lost over 50 pounds last year, then managed to put almost all of it back on. I need accountability like this group to get back on track and lose it again. Looking forward to getting to know you guys and ditching some weight with you!

Hello everyone! I am on team Mind Over Miles. I had a pretty long lazy streak but have gotten off my rear and am back to adding miles for the team.

1. To not give up on my running and weight training from my high school track years 2. To pay more attention to learning to cook and experimenting with different food at a younger age (I didn't know until I was an adult that I love salmon, for example). 3. To get a grip on my weight and stay consistent, to avoid the…

Tuesday, January 5: Tracked: part of the day Under calories: oh my no Exercise: yes, 30 minutes strength training Well, it was better than yesterday, since I forced myself to work out today! I am going to focus on logging and staying under calories tomorrow. I really want a loss this week.

I love sweets, so I totally get this. Once I start, I can't stop eating them. It's great you were able to stay under calories.

I am very down today and so frustrated. I have gained back about 20 pounds since November and just can't seem to get back on the wagon. I start each day thinking this is the day I turn it around, then I end up overeating and then feel even worse. I guess I just need some tough love, a kick in the butt, a push, something! I…

I'm excited to get started! I have a horrible tendency to just quit altogether, stop running, gain a ton of weight, and then have to start all over again. I need to find consistency this year!

Hello Jill, there is a YouTube channel by Lucy Wyndham-Read, who creates 7-minute workouts. She has quite a variety. I have only done one, flat abs or something like that, and it was all standing. I don't know if anything she has on her channel is what you are looking for, but you can find her here:…

Okay, my resolution for 2020 was to reach my goal weight. And I was nearly there, then I went way off the rails around Thanksgiving and have gained 20 pounds back! Ugh. Know what? New Year's is a great new start! My goals for 2021: 1. Reach my goal weight...FINALLY! 2. Run a half marathon. 3. Support my weight loss friends…
